Keep Our Eyes On The Promised Salvation
God gives us tests
For our faith to be purified;
We all have moments
Where our hearts are filled with strife.
But we must not allow
These tribulations
To shake our hope;
Keep our eyes on the promised salvation.
For as that great day
Is drawing near,
There will be more trials to face;
This world plagued with fear.
Though at the same time,
There is hope for the sun to shine
Once more; amidst these troubles,
Our spirits cannot crumble.
If we trust in the Lord
And uphold His Word
Without being swayed
By earthly ways...
Our reward will be found
In the Kingdom of God;
We shall witness His power
That day His Son comes.
