Something about this all stroke L/N as odd... why was he so weirdly specific?

The room on the screen was set ablaze everything filled with flames... but the 'other students' didn't move an inch no struggle.
"Puppets." L/N said
"How did you know?" Dostokuma asked him
"The weird way you phrased this game of yours... you said if I press a button you will kill that person, but you specifically said, that if nothing happens the room will be set on fire, you never specifically said that all of them would be killed. It was a guess, the only thing I could go with." L/N explained
"I see... very good, you exceeded my expectations. The information I promised you is in the desk your sitting at. And as a bonus, you can even ask me some questions about it, but I won't answer everything." Dostokuma told him
L/N opened the first part of the desk and there laid a simple sheet of paper.
"A page from a notebook?" L/N asked
"A you can consider it somewhat of a Diary entry, describing the moment of the fated day." Dostokuma explained
'A man came to the orphanage today... I thought someone somehow saw through my plans and wanted to stop me, since he said he wasn't per say here to adopt a child. But when I talked with him it was even more surprising... he explained to me, that he was someone high ranking inside hopes peak academy. A middle aged man with grey hair and a moustache, he didn't want to give me his name, but he gave me evidence, reason to believe his claim. And what he wanted, was just magnificent. He asked of me to train a child as an experiment. He told me he knew what is going on at the orphanage and he requested from me a child trained to become an ultimate symbol of hope. It fit so we'll with my plan, how could I say no? I'll give him a symbol of hope alright. A hope for a better future, without those insipid oh so talented bastards.'
