I walk toward Allison.

"Finally."

"Did I really miss that much?"

She hands me a tablet.

"This is what I found out about the kanima."

I read through the translations while walking into the school.

"So, the kanima is supposed to be a werewolf?"

"Yes. I think him turning into the kanima instead of a werewolf is because of his parents."

"I just know they died but I'm pretty sure it was from a car accident? I mean.. it wouldn't make any sense."

"I don't know. I need to meet Stiles and Scott in the library." I hand her the tablet back. "Are you okay?"

I slowly nod. I think going to save Klaus was the last thing I wanted to do. But talking to Caroline has given me anxiety about being with Stiles. It's a feeling I'm not familiar with.

"I'm good. I'll see you inside."

"Meet me outside the library in twenty?"

I nod. I walk around for a little bit before getting bored. I walk to the library, creeping up behind Stiles and Scott.

"Allison, if you get hurt while I'm busy with some stupid test-"

"Don't worry I'll be there."

Stiles turns around, flailing his arms.

"You're dramatic."

He kisses my cheek.

"When did you get back?"

"This morning." I ruffle Scott's hair. "Don't worry, Scotty, I'm not letting anything happen to Allison."

"Hey, are you okay?"

Stiles puts his hand on my arm.

"I'll tell you about it later?"

I told Stiles I was coming home soon. I just didn't tell him exactly when. I wanted Lizzie to spend some time with her mom before we came back.

"We should probably go."

I told Stiles as much as I could through text. It's hard typing everything out. He knew I was going to save Klaus but that's about it. I didn't tell him about me almost becoming the tribrid.

Allison and I look around for Jackson. He walks out of a room. We follow him to the boys locker room.

"Stay right here."

"I'm not letting you go in alone."

"Liv."

"Say my name and I'll run in."

I wait around the corner when I hear someone talking to Allison. I peek over the corner to see this boy Matt talking to her. Dude is mad weird. I swore I caught him taking pictures of her but I couldn't fully prove it.

I honestly don't like him either because of that. Last year I almost kicked his ass myself when he spilled some of his drink on me. The only reason I didn't was because Lydia didn't want me to get suspended.

I hold my hand over my mouth to hide my laughter. He's tripping over his own words. He invites her to some rave.

"Pathetic.."

He walks around the corner, walking into me.

"Watch where you're going."

"S-sorry."
