"It has been destroyed, My Lord," the inhumanly figure said in a foreign language, as he knelt before his commander, an ultramarine helmet in his hands.

The commander narrowed his eyes, then tapped on the armrest of his chair. His sphere-shaped seat turned away from the kneeling soldier, and faced the large glass panel of his craft.

"And the girl?" The commander asked, staring at the landscape ahead.

Thick white clouds floated below the craft, forming a frothy ocean.

"Gone with the wreckage, we presume," the soldier replied.

The commander folded his arms as he received the news. He muttered a curse under his breath.

"What a waste. Just when we finally realised her true potential," he said, distastefully.

"Although, I somehow expected this. Using that human was definitely a smart move on their side," he continued.

The soldier remained silent.

"Fortunately, we have-," the commander corrected himself,"-had, a secret weapon of our own."

"He is gone as well, My Lord," the soldier said.

The commander nodded,"Yes, it is better that way. He did betray us at the last minute. He might as well die with our secrets. Nevertheless, he has served well."

"Fret not, we shall commence our next plan," the commander said, a menacing grin spread across his face.

Barrier deactivated.

A voice said through the speakers. The commander slid his finger across the screen in front of him, and gave the final command.

"Begin descent," he said.

Following their orders, and entire fleet of extraterrestrial crafts, began their descent into Atlantis.
