Time seemed to pass by quickly. Each day I seemed to follow the same routine which usually consisted of cleaning, training, practicing spells, and then sleeping (which usually involved cuddling with Toby). However, things didn't seem to be so routine for everyone else.

I remembered the words Slender had spoken to me about a potential war and I briefly wondered if there really was going to be a war. Maybe the war was already happening and no one told me. Or maybe I had nothing to worry about.

Regardless, I still wondered what had happened after I finished talking to Slender all that time ago.

-a few weeks ago-
-Slender's POV-

I called Benjamin to my office and instructed him to locate someone for me. It took him a while but he eventually found them and delivered a message to them on my behalf. I waited patiently for a response but when it finally came I almost wished it hadn't.

"nO cOmPRomIsE. We WAnT iT aLl. wE wANt yOU aLL gOnE. WAR IS NOW."

I shook my head at their use of magazine clippings to make a message. They probably wanted it to look scary but it was just really cliche and childish instead.

I was glad that I had started to make everyone do more training. However, I was not happy that we'd be going to war. I knew all my children were strong, but I still feared it wouldn't be enough.

Who knows what The Unknown have been doing all these years?

One of my main concerns was (Y/N).

Us creepypastas are immortal. If we get severely injured, then we simply sleep for some amount of time before we wake up almost as good as new. That being said, our only concern should be being taken as prisoner, being tortured, or any consequences we might face if we lost the war.

However, (Y/N) is not a creepypasta. She is a human. My biggest fear is that (Y/N) will get hurt, or dare I say it, even perish. If she died, it would not be able to be undone.

I kept it a secret from everyone for a while. I didn't want to throw them off track by telling them there would be a war. I did my best to preserve the lie that everything was normal. However, I did slowly begin telling some of them.

First, I told two of my proxies. I refrained from telling Tobias because I was uncertain of what impact it would have on him regarding (Y/N). Therefore, the other two proxies were sworn to secrecy.

Next, I told EJ. I needed him to know so that he could begin stocking up on any medical supplies we would need. Not only that, but I specified that I also wanted him to put aside some supplies just for (Y/N). I wanted to be prepared for the worst. EJ was also sworn to secrecy.

It's also worth mentioning that I contacted Zalgo, ruler of the Underworld. I made sure that he was informed of everything going on and I asked for his assistance, because this effected him as well. He then alerted all of the creepypastas under his authority of the situation.

I slowly let some of the others under my authority know as well, but eventually the time came to announce it to everyone that there would in fact be a war.
