A comforting surprise

Surprise POV:

'Yeah I just landed gosh it looks the exact same from when we left' I laugh  down the phone

'It's New Orleans it's never changed' she laughs back down the phone

'True I didn't know how bad she was otherwise I wouldn't of left her' I say

'I know I feel really bad' she says 'but I just can't not when-

'No it's okay she'll understand I'll just go in and do my magic but honestly I dunno how long I'll be here' I say

'I want you to stay until you are certain she is okay' she says softly 'I'm fine here with my new friends' she smiles

'Yeah well I'm your only best friend so don't be replacing me' I say smirking

'Yeah yeah I won't I love you' she says

'Love you too got to go I'm around the corner' I say

I walk up towards the steps clicking the doorbell as it rings off

The door opens as she looks at me shocked and relived

'Hello Kira did you miss me?' I smirk

Kira's POV:

I don't even speak no words can come out I throw my arms around him hugging him tightly as he wraps his arms around me squeezing me tightly back

'Woah! hey! someone missed me' he chuckles as he hugs me back squeezing me gently kissing me on the top of my head

Then strangely some tears  start to roll down my cheek as I press my face further into his chest

he must of realised I was crying as he softly pulled away but kept his arm around me as with his one hand he stroke my tear

'Kira why are you crying?' He asks concerned

'I just...I just' I start then  wipe furiously at my tears 'it's nothing' I murmer

'It's something Kira what's going on?' He asks stroking my cheek smiling

'I just...just I missed you so much' I say hugging him tightly burrying  my  face into his chest

'Here we go' he says as he hands me a cup of warm cocoa

'Thanks' I murmer as he sits down next to me his hand on my leg

'So come on spill the beans what's going on?' He says softly

'Alot has been going on since you left to be with davina' I say as he slowly nods

'Elijah told me some of it he mentioned about Luke and you falling out and you not seeming yourself he mentioned about being concerned so I came as soon as I ended the call' he says softly

'That's not entirely the whole story' I say slowly as I pass him my cup to put down

'I'm listening' he says smiling as he grabs my hands holding them tightly

'I've killed  two people murdered them' I say quietly

'Why what happened?' He says slightly confused

'One was a wolf she tried to kill hope when we all went out for a meal and Landon he ....Landon saw me smash her head open with a sink' I say

Josh looks at me shocked as he lets go of my hand and leans back

'woah Landon knows about us all' he asks shocked

'That's not the worst part' I say
'me and Luke I don't think we're going to work out' I say softly
