Kira PoV

'Kol I'm fine honestly' I reassure him for the second time as we walk back over to the bayou

Vincent and Marcel place the coffin on the boat as they wait for all of us to catch up

'I'm just making sure if you want to leave we can' he says

'I'm fine' I say again 'really I can handle this' I say squeezeing his hand softly

we walk over near everyone as I focus on Kols heartbeat over the pummelling of their blood pumping through there veins

'This is not a goodbye but a see you soon Luke Carter' Vincent says quietly

he throws the match on the boat as he pushes it softly to the lake

I watch the love of my life burn and i feel an ache in my chest

I squeeze harder onto Kols hand as my chest begins to ache

i swear i see Luke standing up on the boat looking at me with murderous eyes

'Hope whats wrong?' Landon says quietly as i listen in

'Nothing i just feel really warm' she says breathlesly

'Hope your burning up' Landon says 

i turn around seeing sweat beading from her forehead as i look in the tree line seeing  a hooded figure holding a shirt and a hairbrush muttering Latin

'I feel like im on fire' she says as she falls forwards onto the floor as we all look at her

'Hope sweetheart whats wrong whats wrong?' Klaus says panicked

i see the hooded figure still chanting as i realise shes doing a binding ritual

'She's linked to Luke' i whisper as everyone hands down water from the lake as they tip it on her

'She's linked'  i yell as i take off my jacket and run towards the lake and jump in

'Kira!' Kol yells as im surrounded by the water

i kick my legs as fast as i can as i move closer to the boat

i use my hands to push myself  forwards until i reach the edge of the boat

i climb up aboard seeing Lukes face staring into mine

i take a deep breath as i reach into his chest the flames dancing around us as i rip his heart out and crush it in my hands

i look back seeing Hope sit up leaning into Klaus

'Shes okay!'Kol yells 'You can come back now' he says

then im frozen

i look down at his body the fire reaching his face as my heart burns as tears fall down my cheeks as everything around us goes quiet 

i feel the boat start to dip down as i fall into the water as something drags my feet down under the water

i can't breath 

i look in front of me seeing Lukes body sink slowly to the bottom where he suddenly turns to ash his face melting i look away

Then someone holds my face towards his face to watch every second as i scream in pain the water filling my mouth

I feel my arm being dragged as i look seeing marcels face  he holds me to his chest as he swims to the others

As we reach the bank Josh grabs my arms and pulls me up to him as Marcel looks at the others
