The big day part two

Luke whispers in my ear i laugh softly as everyone is having small conversations of there own apart from Klaus whos glaring at Landon until Elijah smacks his shoulder amused shaking his head

'Exuse me can i have everyone's attention' Marcel says walking onto the stage as we all look up at him

'Oh no here comes the protective dad speech' I sigh smiling as luke puts his arm around me as i lean back into him smiling

'Hi i'd like to say a few words' he starts as he takes a sip of his water 'First to the daughter i never knew i needed Davina when i first laid my eyes on you i made a vow to myself to always love and protect you as my own and with that came complications i became protective sometimes maybe a bit too much and as you've grown up I've slowly come to realise that your now a young woman capable of making your own decisions and choices but im always still going to be protective over you until my last breath Davina because i love you and you will always be my daughter in here' he says his hand over his heart

'Now for my son in law i guess we've had the most complicated relationship Growing up you was practically the ghost in the background i never seen much of you and when i did it never ended well but never did i expect that a few centuaries later you would be marrying my daughter granted we've had our differences i've tried to kill you multiple times and kept Davina away from you' everyone laughs 'But im happy to know that when i can't protect her that you will be there to protect her, i guess what im saying is i'm glad that out of everyone in the world she ended up with someone like you To the happy couple' he says holding up his drink as everyone does the same

'To the happy couple!' Everyone cheers as he steps down the steps walking over to Davina as she hugs him tightly as he man hugs kol

'That was something' Luke says sighing as he strokes my shoulder as i trace my thumb over his arm

'Yeah i never knew Marcel and Davina was that close' i say as he squeezes my shoulder gently

'I could tell by the way he looks at her like he would die for her' he smiles

'Must be nice i wish i had what they had my father was a maniac and used to abuse me because we had different DNA then my biological dad died before i knew him and my mother well she was sweet but she never stood up for me not one bit' i sigh as Luke grabs my chin as he looks at me

'Im sorry your childhood was crappy mine wasnt exactly good either my father was always drunk hitting my mum then she left me with him' he sighs

'Maybe one day when were parents we can make their childhod better than ours' he says as i smile kissing him as he smiles against my lips

'If thats possible' he adds quickly as i smile rolling my eyes

'Can i have your attention please' Elijah says 'i just want to say a quick thing firsty congratulations to you both and i want to say thank you to Davina for showing Kol the way of life and showing him that he too can have happiness you have truley changed him for the better and i thank you for that i'm happy he has you to guide him and keep him happy and brother i warn you now if you do anything to hurt the girls heart i will personally dagger you' he jokes as we all start laughing 'Now without further ado can we please welcome the bride and groom for there first dance please?' he says

Kol and Davina walk to the patch of grass in the middle of the table as they start dancing slowly to the song "perfect" by Ed sheeron as we all stand up as we watch them dance slowly as they laugh and smile

'I'm just going to change into something more breathable' i whisper into Lukes ear as everyone cheers as people begin to join the bride and groom dancing with their partners
