Dr.[redacted] was excited for her testing today with scp 6549, the child that was immune to other SCPs memetic effects, like a living version of the jade ring

She tried to calm herself as she got to the holding cell, the child was considered safe because there was nothing that made them actually different, only an immunity to what made other SCPS different, except for the effects of 999 apparently

They would be putting y/n testing against the effects of 049 and 049-N or more commonly known as the doctor and the nurse

Dr.[redacted]: alright, let's escort the kid carefully, we wouldn't want you to scare em

She said to the guard she was working with, his name was an odd name of Volgun, he was Dr.[redacted] personal bodyguard and assistant

She opened the door and stepped inside to see 6549 huddled in a corner crying

Dr.[redacted]: hey it's ok, we're not here to hurt you, now please come with me we have some new friends to introduce you to

She didn't know that y/n had already met the doctor and the nurse because Mary hadn't mentioned it

The child didn't move so she looked at volgun
Dr.[redacted]: you try, well try something else if it doesn't work

When they turned back the child had already gotten up and walked to them looking down obviously scared [redacted]

Dr.[redacted] smiles and walked out taking the shortest route to the doctors room

Dr.[redacted]: now all you have to do is go in the room, our friend will handle the rest

She really hopped the kids immunity was true, she didn't particularly like seeing kids die

As the got to the door volgun took the kid into the room while Dr.[redacted] took her place in the observation section

When y/n entered the room something very unexpected happened, the nurse looked up from her work and then ran over to y/n

The child didn't look scared now however, their bright little face was incredibly joyful as y/n and the nurse hugged

She wrote down how the child didn't react at all to the nurses touch, and to how friendly they all seemed, they must have met before....

Y/n grinned as the nurse hugged them and they hugged back

Nurse: oh y/n! I was so worried! They denied us when we asked to go see you, I'm so happy your ok

She then looked at the orange jumpsuits

Nurse: oh.....oh no.....no no no
She put a hand on y/ns face

Nurse: I can't believe Mary would ever let them imprison you like this, she must not have been given a choice

The doctor walked over giving a warm laugh

049: hello young one, I am terribly sorry that you have become a victim of this confinement, but I am happy to see you

He ruffled y/ns hair

Nurse: they must be testing your abnormalities

Y/n nods Having thought that to be the case

Y/n: I really missed you guys, my room is really dark and cold......and I'm always alone

Nurse: hmmmm, maybe.....I'll see if I can persuade someone to see if you can stay with us, I can't promise anything but you wouldn't be alone and we have blankets and stuff

Y/n could only hope.....only hope
