The nurse being the smart birb that she was came up with an ingenious plan

Nurse: y/n is staying here

Dr. (Redacted) : no....y/n

Nurse: will stay with us until Mary Collins comes to get them, that is final

Dr. (Redacted): but.... we can't

Nurse: do I need to talk to your manager? Because I will sink low enough to be a Karen if I need to, don't make me do that, you wouldn't like me as a Karen

She couldn't believe this was working, it was probably the threat of her touch that kept them at bay but she was going to blame it on her genius birb plan

Nurse: I'll make it worth your while, I'll test with any other SCP

She immediately regretted those words as they left her mouth

Dr.(redacted) sighs, and gets in the radio

Dr.(redacted): get Mary Collins to 049s cell please, and schedule 049-N for testing with 682 this afternoon

The nurse laughs
Nurse: ha ha, I'm in danger

The nurse was pretty sure she couldn't die but wasn't 100%, she was about 96% sure she was immortal but if anything in the world could kill her it would be one of three things 001, 682 or 343

Other then those three she was pretty sure she could survive anything, after all she had been working with the doctor in Chernobyl and that had only hurt a lot, like enough to make her want to die and faint from the pain, 682 would probably be worse

She then looked down at the smiling face of y/n band all doubt was cleared from her mind, it was all completely worth it

She ruffled the kids hair and pointed towards the closet

Nurse: there are blankets in there, just don't touch any of the surgery tools

Y/n was happier then they had been in a very long time, Mary was on her way and they couldn't wait to see her

Y/n practically bound with excitement and this made both the nurse and the doctor laugh

Doctor: you seem happy little on, are you excited to see Mary pop....I mean collins?

Y/n nodded not knowing really what to say

Nurse: the excitement is supercalafragalisticexpialadotios

The doctor elbowed her

Nurse: what? You make jokes like that all the time

Doctor: but it's actually funny when I do it

Nurse: I'm sure "they" think I'm funny
She gestured at nothing really but it's in the direction of someone

Doctor: don't you dare bring all of them into this, we arnt those kinds of characters

Nurse: whatever
