"When I was about to take my shoes,
on the rooftop there I see,
a boy with glasses was already there" We couldn't see the figure yet but you can see the outline of glasses framing the figure's face.

"The important question here, is what the hell is he even doing in a roof." Lisanna pointed out.

"And what about the other guy with the glasses?" Gajeel asked.

"Why aren't we given a clear view of the figure?" Sherry questions.

"We'll get to that later, I guess."

"Despite myself I called out to him:
'Hey don't do it'" Gray found himself shouting.

"Gray?!"

"What is he doing there?!"

"Wait- He's trying to commit suicide!" Sting shouted, making all eyes turn to him.

"The boy or Gray-san?" Rogue asked warily.

No one answered his question.

" The words just kind of slipped from my mouth ," he covered his mouth with his hand and looked down.
" I t didn't really matter to me either way.
It just didn't sit right with me ,
That someone got there ahead of me." Gray clenched his fists, and looked at the boy.

"I'm sorry what?" Natsu said baffled.

Erza looked at her hands and whispered "Gray doesn’t care, what had become of our world?"

"The boy with glasses told me his story,
The kind of story one has already heard before,
'I thought we were meant for each other ,
I just really wanted him to like me back.'"

"That's sad." Rufus murmured.

"Are you kidding me!" Gray glared at him.
"The nerve you have to get here before me for such a lame reason!
You're upset because you can't have what you want?
You're lucky enough that you've never had anything stolen from you!" He remembered his mom grinning as they made cookies together.

"What happened to his mom?" Juvia asked.

Gray was quiet. In this world his own mother died, does that mean even in that universe as well?

"'I feel better now that I've talked about it'
The boy with glasses then disappeared."

He jumped of the ledge.

Everyone gasped, horrified.

"Why would he do that?!"
