Sunshine:- so?
Me:- what's next?
Sunshine:- umm...Netflix and chill.
Me:- what? Are you serious?
Sunshine:- actually I'm on my periods.
Tell me this is a dream😞!
Me:- really? Wasn't it supposed to be over by now?
Sunshine:- the length of the cycle can vary at times.
Why does this always happen to me😩?
Me:- ok.....can you tell me the problems which can arise when a couple is intimate during periods.
Sunshine:- you can't be serious.
Me:- you are a doctor right? Give me an honest answer?
Sunshine:- other than the fact that it is very messy, I don't see any other problems.
Well I don't really mind mess. But I hope it won't hurt her in anyway.
Me:- will it be more painful due to the cramps?
Sunshine:- well.....as a matter of fact, having an intercourse during periods helps reduce menstrual cramps. It's just a matter of preference.
Then nothing can stop me tonight, just hope she doesn't mind it.
Me:-(slowly) are you ok with it?
Sunshine:- no! I would never have sex during periods.
Well if she is uncomfortable, then no more discussions.
Me:-(dejected) that's alright, I can wait my entire life for you. Thanks a lot for all the efforts you put in for tonight. It really means a lot.
Sunshine:- let's go to the bedroom.
