I had left Elaine and the boys early, hardly anyone was awake. Felix had been serious as ever as shadow took us away from the Neverland shores. We were in a land where magic was present but had been weakened by human exploitation over many years. I felt the strain on my own magic. I knew I had to protect it. Any magic in a land running low would be a target.

We stayed to dark corners and roof tops. Travelling from neighbourhood to neighbourhood.

"What about that one?" Felix pointed down to a passer-by on the street.

"No, not that one."

"Then which Pan, what are we looking for?" Felix was growing more agitated by the minute.

We both were.

"It's the same system as all the others, I'll know what I'm looking for when I find it, I just have more of a hint this time." We had only been in this realm a few hours but in Neverland days will have passed.

My thoughts wandered to Elaine more often than I liked to admit but she intrigued me. As soon as I figured out this whole dilemma, I could stop thinking about it and focus on her and the Lost boys.

"We should leave, I'm over this." Felix nodded not questioning my motives as long as they got him home.
