i watched as the colors of the sky changed with the ever changing sun.
the one that brought nothing but darkness to me,
changing the very ceiling of my life.at first it was your typical blue,
like the color of your shirtas the sun began setting,
it matched the rosiness of your lipsthe lilac began showing,
and it paired with the icons of notifications you kept ignoringid never seen a sunset mold the color green,
but i think mother earth was jealous of your eyesi watched as the sun fell finally letting go
changing again as it always does,
ready to turn everything in this existenceit was now a deep blue,
the color of my forgotten sorrowsthe clouds appeared grey,
how the world looked before you camestars shooting above,
for all the wishes that never fulfilledthe moon shined so bright at that moment,
reminding me that in the darkness there was hopei watched as you brought me in
with colors that only reminded me of you,
and the us in the futurewith darkness succumbing,
being engulfed by your smilewith serenity finally setting,
as the ever changing darkness finally ceasedand while taking me in,
i learned to love the sun
