Chapter 31: Together together

I see my baby taking things out of her locker, and I beeline for her.

This is all my dreams come true. God knows how many times I've wanted this. Just simple things with her. Like coming to hug her from behind. Hearing her soft chuckle, her hand on my cheek as she turns her head to kiss the other.

"How was practice?"

"I got hurt," I pout.

She gasps, concern in her eyes. How much I missed this. "What happened?"

"Smashes into the boards, hit my shoulder. It's nothing."

"I'll kiss it later," she frowns. "Are you sure?"

I smile. "Yeah."

"By the way," she starts.

"Aren't you tired of following him around?" Josie's snide voice cuts her off.

We both turn to see Josie and some cheer girls giving Kaity vicious looks. My body tenses. But Kaitlyn laughs. "Aren't you tired of trying to get what you can never have? I told you he's mine," she smiles.

"I love being your property," I whisper into her ear.

She inhales shakily. Then clears her throat. "Back to what I was saying," she blushes, and I hide my smile. "Go shoo."

"Xavier?" Josie frowns.

"Sorry," I shrug. "You heard my girlfriend," I smirk at Kaitlyn.

"You two are so fucking confusing," Josie says.

"And you're so fucking annoying," Kaitlyn groans. "Fuck off?"

I chuckle, kissing my baby's cheek. "You heard her," I look at Josie.

She clenches her jaw. "Fuck you, Xavier."

"I will," Kaitlyn smiles. Fuck. That's hot.

With an enraged sound, Josie turns, having nothing better to do, and the girls leave right being, confused and annoyed. But I'm floating above the clouds.

"You will fuck me, will you?" I grab her waist, teasing her.

She bites her lip. "Don't keep me waiting."

I kiss her forehead. "We will see," I smack her ass before walking away.

"Xavier!" She rages after me, and I smile to myself.

"You look happy," Sebastian raises a brow, smiling.

I sigh, content. "I am," as I start gearing up for practice after school.

"Congratulations, man," he says. "It's been a long time coming."

I chuckle. "Yeah."

"You two finally together together?" Carter asks.

I nod. "Hey," I frown. "What's up with you and Talia?"

His eyes widen. "Nothing."

Seb and I share a knowing look. "Umhm. Whatever you say," Sebastian teases.

"It's nothing, fuckers," Carter frowns. "I think?"

I laugh. "You're down bad."

"Says you, literally rolling around the fucking bushes for your girl," Cart scowls at me.

"Hey," I protest playfully. "I used to hate her, remember? It's only fair."

"Hated her my ass. We all know that's pure bull."
