[Chapter 3] Let's Go Picnic 🎶

»We got done earlier than I thought«
»Only because I helped^^«
»Of course«
They had already gotten everything on Chan's shopping list and they still had plenty of time left. Neither of them wanted to go home yet.

»Hyung, we still need something exciting for the Vlog«
»Don't you think it's already long enough?«
»So far it's only you picking out different items from different stores«
»And you think that won't be enough for Stay?«
Chan was excited to spend more time with his favorite boy using the Vlog as an excuse but he also loved teasing him.
»No, they want to see more of me!!^^«

»Alright Felix, where do you want to go?«
»Hmmm I don't know. Where do you want to go, hyungie?«
Chan was already trying to calculate what place they could spend the best quality time at.
Going to see a movie wouldn't be suitable for the Vlog. Just taking a walk would be too boring. We could get some food, maybe?
»Let's go Picnic!«
Felix seemed to have similar ideas.
»Hm?«
»Hyung, there's a grocery store nearby! Let's get some snacks and have a picnic in the park«
»Ok sure, if you want to«
Chan got his phone out to check how much time they had left.
»Of course, I want to! It will be so romantic, just me and hyung having a picnic at the park^^«
Romantic?
Chan quickly looked up again to find Felix talking to the camera.
He was just joking of course...

»Hyungie sit down already and have some food with me«
»Let me unpack everything first, Lixie. And are you sure the grass is dry? I don't want to get all dirty«
»The grass is fine, hurry up TT«
Chan finally sat down to enjoy some snacks with Felix. The younger boy had wanted him to hurry up the whole way to the park but Chan had been secretly dragging things out as much as possible. Partially to tease Felix but also to just enjoy the company for as long as he could.
»Here try some strawberries!«
Felix was reaching out to hand Chan some fruit but stopped right before he could take it.
»No say 'Ahh'«
Felix insisted on feeding him which made Chan turn around in fear of his blushing cheeks being visible. He could hear some loud giggles but after a few seconds, it got more quiet. Feeling safer, he turned back only to find he was being recorded again.
»Look Stay, Chanie hyung is being all shy with me!«
»No!! Don't record me right now«
Chan could still feel the redness on his face.
»Do I make you that nervous, hyung?^^«
»Yes!«
Instant regret hit Chan right after admitting to his nervousness. He expected an awkward silence or maybe even an awkward walk home or an awkward friendship for the rest of his life!!
But Felix was just laughing along now pointing the camera at himself.
»Do I make you nervous too, Stay?«
Chan was relieved seeing how clueless Felix was. His secret was safe for now and nothing could get it out of him.
I can't tell him, and I won't! It would only bring disadvantages to our relationship and career. It would make things a lot worse. I can't take any risks and I won't let anything slip out. Nothing in the world could make me tell-
He suddenly felt two arms wrapped around him. He was too busy with his thoughts to notice Felix had put away the camera to talk to his hyung.
»Thanks Chanie.«
The grip wasn't too tight but the hug was enough to take Chan's breath. He barely managed to get out some words.
»For what?«
»You know, just for spending so much time with me. I had a lot of fun today.«

Once again, Chan felt very lucky to have such a close friendship with his crush. His heart desired more but he was grateful for what he could get. They have hugged and cuddled so many times before, but each time still made Chan's heart race. That's how he knew he was truly in love.
»Are you tired, hyung? Should we rest for a while?«
Before Chan could answer anything, Felix layed down and pulled his hyung with him, onto his arms.
»Are you comfortable?«
»Yeah«
Chan felt more than comfortable being the one taken care of for once. Felix just knew
him too well. For a moment, Chan couldn't worry about anything at all. Nothing mattered right now. His past, his future, and even his present all felt so far away. He wasn't even scared of his heart beating too loud.
