The picture is why I love Gravity Falls

AN: yo what's up? theaboooood1 I thought of a better hint for the coded chapter name: Welcome to Gravity Falls.

For context, theaboooood1 translated the title into like three different languages to get "You can't eat the way you want to do it", which I have to admit, is a pretty good title, I may have to use it in the future.

It's 618 on the day of publishing, so happy birthday Alex Hirsch.

Gideon Gleeful sat in his room, preparing to execute his next plot. 'Once I get my hands on the shack, I'll still have to get journal 1 from Dipper. I know the bumpkins will support me, but that pig-man is slightly concerning. How to take care of him...' Gideon's thoughts trailed off before he remembered something.

'Wait just a cotton-pickin' minute, I've read about pig-men in the journal! 'course it was only the story of one of the author's friends child, but still. Let's see, where was it... ah, here it is!' Gideon began to read.

My bird friend joined me for tea again last Friday, and he told me another story about his son, Technoblade. Techno had gotten involved in a hide and seek game for a fridge, and sold out several of his friends to try and win. He didn't win the big fridge, but he did get a smaller fridge.

Techno was a Piglin, a sort of man-pig. He loved potatoes, even fighting a war with the squid people over them at one point, and was king of all Pigmen. My friend didn't know where his son ended up, and I've been using my contacts to look for him. No news yet.

'I see. I wonder if I could use my minions to eliminate him. It's a shame telling Manly Dan about the pig man hadn't resolved in the pig mans death. Ah well, since it's just a normal pig man, 30-30 or 30-06 rifles should be effective. I'll just keep that as a contingency plan.'

The middle of Oregon was covered in clouds. A moderate rain sprinkled down onto Gravity Falls, pooling on the ground and giving the world a peaceful feeling. It was a perfect day to do nothing, to sit and relax with loved ones.

High up on the cliffs, a compound sat at the edge of the woods with a watch tower peering down into the valley. Inside the compound there was a house, and inside the house a man watched his potato fields through the window. Techno was at peace, his friend had returned and the outdoors was rainy and cold, in a warm, familiar way, like a half-remembered childhood memory.

Phil walked up beside Techno and put a hand on his shoulder.

"What'cha thinking about, Techno?"

"Just watching the rain."

"It's peaceful." Phil said, looking out as well. "Reminds me of the arctic."

"Little warmer, but that was what I was hoping for."

Phil and Techno walked away from the window as the rain stopped, back into the living room.

Gideon was in the woods after failing to steal the deed to the Mystery Shack, resorting to desperate measures. Gideon was surrounded by birch trees and had encircled an exed out picture of Stan with candles. Gideon finished lighting the candles and extinguished his match.

"You think that combination's safe in your mind, Stanford? We'll see what my new minion has to say about that!" Gideon said, leafing through the second journal. "Triangulum, entangulum. Vene foris dominus mentium. Vene foris videntis omnium!"
