"SAMANTHA!" A feminine voice yelled.
She didn't respond.
"... SAMANTHA!"
Grabbing a fluffy white pillow- she'd stuff it over her face.
She twitched under her blankets- feet slightly kicking and head jerking with anxiety.
Please forget... Please forget... Please forget-
"SAMANTHA SAGE REED! GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE!" A deeper voice roared.
He said a bad word AND her full name... he was definitely mad.
The door to her bedroom creaked open. Light steps creaked the floorboards leading up to her body, curled under her blankets and pillows.
"Samantha..." A soft voice cooed with a tired sigh.
Fortunately, it wasn't her father that came stomping upstairs. Samantha's mom was always much nicer, meaning she was a huge pushover. It came in handy when she was having emotional moments, though.
