Sam slightly shifted, keeping her broken leg in check, as she watched him nervously fidget with his large hands.
The sunlight through the window gave her the ability to see his adverted blue eyes. Regardless of the safety of his mask- he couldn't bare to make eye contact.
Finally- he slowly nodded.
"I... I had a sus-suspicion." She casted her gaze toward the floor, "But I wa-was in d-denial."

Jason sighed, his shoulders falling. The large man sat beside her legs on the bed- making it dip and creak due to his tremendous weight.
He gestured for the note- which she curtly gave him.
