NO ONE IS COMING FOR YOU.

Sam used to celebrate Halloween.

The keyword is used to. In 1963, She and Tammy were going to celebrate Halloween with her Niece in Illinois, but... there was a murder. Tammy's seven-year-old Niece's best friend murdered his family in front of her.

Some adults celebrate Halloween, but Sam has been put off it since that day. Now, it's just any other day.

For three days, Sam has been out of her splint and crutches. The amount of freedom she got back was phenomenal.

What hasn't changed is Jason's wobbly control over himself.

The poor man struggles to control himself while under the effects of the curse constantly. He tends to fall back into his sentry mindset when Sam is too far away. It distresses him.

Though, sometimes, he'll puppy guard her while she does everyday activities.

Including... sleeping.

His heavy blue gaze was static on the sleeping form of a familiar ginger.

The man could endlessly entertain himself by swooning over all of her features. Her imperfect freckles, soft eyelashes, and messy bedhead were adorable. He eyed her puckered lips in awe.
