"Wait. You are saying that YOU GOT BITTEN AND DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING? I TOLD YOU THAT YOU NEED TO TELL ME EVERYTHING, NO MATTER WHAT IT IS," well that went better then I thought.

We have been here for 2hrs and Jared didn't look any better and my bite started to itch but I didn't want to cause a scene.

"Look, there is no time for screaming and giving me lessons okay. He doesn't have much time and I'm sure as hell that Mia doesn't want her mate to die any time soon," I pointed to Jared, who fell asleep an hour ago. I told him to rest and to sleep in the couch here so I can watch him, just for precautions.

"I won't let you die Leila, not now. I finally got you, you know I care and-" Andrew hasn't said a word until now. He was in front of me with one arm around my waist and his other hand was on my neck. He had a tear running down his cheek and I went to run my thumb over it.

I haven't seen this side of him and it kind of hurt, kinda. "Don't cry over me, I'm fine as long as we don't mate and what were you going to say?" I didn't want to mate anytime soon and I just came to do my job, finding my mate wasn't planned.

"How can't I not cry, I mean just thinking of you dying kills me inside and my wolf won't let me stay away from you so-"

"So we'll talk about this later in private. We have things to do," I turned to my brother, "I'm going to talk to the boys and cancel the rest of the training. Didn't you want to talk to us?" The other alphas haven't talked all this time that me and my brother have been talking. Before I turned around to go talk to the soldiers I turned to Andrew.

"Um, Andrew do you want to come with me?" We obviously need to talk wether I wanted to or not. "Thought you never asked," he said with a grin in his face. He looked like a kid in Christmas, he walked fast next to me and took my hand in his. "Ok let's go."

Andrew tugged my arm signaling for me to walk.

We were in the hallway when he started talking. "Let's go on a date," what? Just like that? He didn't even ask, he stated or more like demanded.

"What? No. I'm not going on a date with you only because I'm your mate. I have important stuff to do like search for treatments for me and Jared. Maybe some other time but not now." We had stopped walking and we were facing each other now, he pushed me to the wall a little to hard and talked in a low voice, "I'm saying we should go on a date so we can get to know each other and you stop thinking of work for once okay. I'm trying here but you're just pushing me away."

Go on a date already woman!! So Lexi decided to show up now?

Sorry Lexi but no. I have a life to safe and mine too. I don't want to die and be a hybrid forever.

"I can't. I'm sorry but how about you help me search the hybrids and we can spend time together when we're not busy," that's all it took for him to smile.

"Why don't you smile?" He asked when he noticed my straight face.

That's the million dollar question that everyone asks. I haven't smiled for years, I've always been concentrated on the training that I just didn't care about me anymore.

"Why should I? Last time I smiled my world turned upside down and I don't want that to happen again," my last smile was on my 17 birthday when my parents gave me a position in leadership. That night my parents got attacked by rouges and it hurt both, me and my brother, and the whole pack of course. Since that day I've been training the soldiers and haven't celebrated my birthday or have smiled.

"What do you mean your world fell upside down?" At his question I snapped out of my thoughts and pushed him away from me. He looked hurt but I didn't care right now, I just want to get does hybrids and kill the rouges that killed my parents.

"Let's talk later. I need to get the soldiers and cancel the training." After that we walked quietly to the training field.

It was around 8pm so it was dark already and lights were shining the field.

"EVERYONE STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND PAY ATTENTION. SOLDIERS YOU ARE NEEDED IN THE 3TH PACK HOUSE AND ALL OF YOU WILL TAKE THE REST OF THE NIGHT AND MAYBE A COUPLE OF OTHER DAYS OFF. NOW DON'T GET USED TO IT, IT'S JUST A COUPLE OF DAYS WHILE WE WORK ON PACK STUFF. YOU'RE ALL DISMISSED," the soldiers were already making their way to the pack house that I told them to go too and everyone else were going home.

"Wow you sure know how to control people," Andrew whispered while he had his arms wrapped around my waist from behind while he was rubbing his nose up and down on my neck.

"Only because we had a moment back there doesn't mean we're all smoochy and all matey, ok?" I pushed him of me and walked to the pack house with Andrew on my trail. 

"I'm just trying," I felt his hand grab my arm and turned me around and I bumped into his chest. "Maybe you should stop trying for a while, Alpha." My face showed no emotions but it sure hurt Andrew.

His arms tighten around my waist and pulled me closer, if that was possible.

"YOU ARE MINE! I'm not going to give up on you. If it takes for me to become a hybrid so we can mate and die together and spend my life with you as a hybrid then I'll do it. I don't care what it takes but I won't give up on you."

When he finished talking he looked at me in the eyes before he crashed his lips to mine.
