Chapter 16

Andrew's POV

I've never seen her like this.

Tyler's fighters went to get Leila and I saw Josh take Aurora and Jeannette to his car. I wanted to go check on Josh and the mermaids but I needed to take the fighters off of my mate.

I saw Leila fighting some of the fighters and saw the soldiers shift into their huge wolf. I shifted and went to where Leila was fighting the fighters, the soldiers went and attacked the fighters and I went and got Leila by her foot. She immettiadately snapped at me and then I remembered something that she told me.

I growled so loud that the woods shook and all the wolf that were fighting stopped. I looked down at Leila, making sure my eyes were red, my alpha eyes.

LEILA STOP NOW! I roared at her through the mind link. I kept growling at her and roaring at, feeling all my alpha power come out on her. She lowered herself little by little until she had her head bowed to me.

No one over rules me got it! Thanks for remembering, I heard her say.

I licked the side of her face and looked at her. She was bigger than me and all the other wolves, the soldiers were bigger too but like one foot taller than us wolves.

When Leila noticed I had licked her she growled at me and went where Josh was.

I guess this is not over, I thought.

Tyler's POV

Its been a week since Leila got here. Jared and Leila have been in the werewolves hospital in my pack getting treated by chemicals and other stuff. Andrew blamed me for this but to be honest it wasn't even my idea of seeing her in this state of matter.

When Xavier called me about a vampire witch pretending to be Leila's mate I knew I had a chance with Leila but then I found out that she had found her mate.

I wanted to take her back, I missed her and loved her. I had rejected my mate when I found her because I wanted to be with Leila not with a human. I found my mate when I was a year and a half of being with Leila and when we graduated and got our positions in our pack we broke up the day that we turned 3 years together.

I wanted her back so bad.

Andrew hasn't moved from where he was next to Leila, I couldn't be near her because Andrew didn't let me after he told me that he knew about our history together.

Andrew had brought Leila to the pack hospital after she fainted. The doctor said that Andrew's mark affected her and now needs for her to rest, under their surveillance.

Jared for some reason died. They don't know what cost it but it looked like Leila and her soldiers knew because they didn't even cry.

Something was up but Andrew nor Leila wanted to tell.

Leila's POV

One fucking week in the hospital.

After I fainted in the field Andrew brought me to the hospital and the doctor told me and Andrew that his mark affected my hybrid mark.

They wanted to contact a hybrid that they knew as a friend but I didn't want to.

Jared died on the fifth day that we were in the hospital. Of course they didn't bury him, the nurses took him to a place where Tyler couldn't see him and was save.

I was currently changing to my clothes after the doctor said that I could leave but had to rest.

Yeah like I would rest.

I heard the door to my room open.

"Hey Andrew......" I then knew it wasn't him when he started kissing my neck.

I turned around to see Tyler smirking at me.

"What was that Tyler!?" My wolf felt angry just at the thought of another man near me.

"I want you back Leila. I love you and you know that. Give me another chance, please. Run away with me or something," was he joking?

"What! Are you crazy or something? Because I would never leave Andrew to be with you. Yeah we had a past but forget that and go find your mate," he had literally just lost his mind.

"I rejected her just to be with you......"

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!" Oops I forgot to put my pants on.

"Nothing Andrew. Is everything ready?" I held his hand and he seemed to relax.

"Yeah everything is in the car and everyone is on the road already."

Dante had checked around to see if everything was fine and said everything looked perfectly fine.

Andrew had immediately decided that we should leave but I asked if we could go to my pack to check on them.

"You're leaving? After the doctor said you needed to rest?!" Um yeah I'm not staying with you. I think Andrew heard my thought because he laughed but covered it with a cough.

Toby and Dante took care of Jared days after he died. They send him in a plane from our pack and had landed hours later in Andrew's pack.

This is really short and I'm sorry but I promise next chapter would be longer.

I'm going to update only on Sundays from now on because school is going to start and I'm really busy lately. But hope this makes it for the chapter of today.
