Derek and I are walking into a cart in the abandoned station. Scott close behind.

"I'm not saying we need a new plan because next time, one of us is gonna be too hurt to heal." Derek says.

Him and I take a seat.

"I get it," Scott says. "We can't save Jackson."

"We can't seem to kill him either." I say.

"I've see a lot of things Scott." Derek says. "I've never seen anything like this. And every full moon is just gonna make him stronger." Derek looks down.

I rub Derek's back with my right hand. Wait, Derek has seen a lot of things, supernatural things. That makes me think, how much supernatural creatures are there?

"Than how do we stop him?" Scott asks.

Derek shrugs. "I don't know. I don't even know if we can."

"Maybe we should just let the Argents handle it."

"I'm the one who turned him. It's my fault."

"No, it's not." I say. "You didn't turn him into this D."

Derek hangs his head.

"This happened because of something in his past right?" Scott asks.

"That's a legend in a book. It's not that simple."

"What do you mean? What aren't you telling me?"

"Why do you think I'm always keeping something from you?"

"Because you always are keeping something from me!"

"Maybe I do it to protect you."

"Doesn't, being part of your pack mean no more secrets?"

"Go home Scott. Sleep, heal, make sure your friends are safe. A full moon's coming. By the way things are going, I've got a feeling it's gonna be a rough one."

I wake up the next morning feeling anxious. Probably due to the full moon. That's also probably why Derek and I can't stay away from each other. If you catch my drift.

Realizing that I'm on Derek's chest, I look up and watch his peaceful face. It shows no stress, worry, sadness. No, only happiness and releif.

I bring my hand up and ever so lightly trace his face. Starting at his cheek and ending at his lips. When my fingers brush over them, Derek stirs so I watch as his eyes open a little.

"Morning Beautiful," he says.

"Morning Sexy," I respond.

"Morning mom." I hear my moms familiar voice say.

Really? This is twice now. The world must really hate me.

I turn and see my mom standing in my doorway, a smirk playing at her lips. She's up to something.

".........sup?" I say.

"Breakfast's ready in 20. I expect both of you to be ready in fifteen." She turns to leave but I stop her.

"Both?"

"I think it's time I officially meet the guy that's been taking up residence in my daughters bed. Fourteen minutes."

She than leaves. I turn to see Derek and his face is white.

"Nooh." I say. "The big bad Alpha Derek Hale is nervous about meeting sweet little Melissa McCall?"

"I don't do parents." Derek tells me.

"Well, you have ten minutes Mister. I advise us to shower."
