CHAPTER – 16
NEXT MORNING
Mukti was sitting on sofa folding her hands on her chest. She had a weird smirk on her face . She was talking to herself.
Mukti - In 10 seconds my sweat little Nandini bhabi(Sister-in-law) will come to me and will say " I am sorry Mukti "
Mukti - Let's just count.(She said when she heard some footsteps.)
Mukti- 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5. (Nandini started coming close to her)
Mukti - 4, 3, 2,1. (Nandini stood in front of her)
Mukti – And .(Mukti sarcastically smiled looking at her)
Nandini - I am sorry.(Nandini said looking in some other direction.)
Mukti – What? (She showed her fake confusion.)
Nandini Angrily- Mukti I said I'm sorry for last night.
Mukti – It's OK bhabi(Sister-in-law).

Mukti - I love you Abhi.
She confessed with a rose her hand .Abhimanyu smiled.
Abhi - I love you too Mukti.(She hugged him)
*Flashback*
Nandini - Let go of me manik.
Manik shouted - I can't.(Tears escaped her eyes)
Nandini softly – WHY?
Manik – Because I .......... Hate you.
Nandini pushed him and ran out of the room. She went to her room in servant quarters. She closed the door with a thud and sat down on the floor holding her knees. She was crying..... crying...... crying.
KNOCK KNOCK
She wiped her tears and stood up to open the door , She was about to unclose it when she heard a voice calling out her name.
Voice softly – Nandini. (Her eyes widened.)
Nandini – Bhai(Brother).
She wiped the tears from her face and opened the door. As soon as she opened the door Abhimanyu hugged her tightly , She cried. He patted her hairs.
Nandini crying – Bhai(Brother).
Nandini crying – You know Mukti and Manik.
Abhi - Shh Shhh I know.(Nandini wiped her tears.)
Nandini - How do you know?
Abhi - I was right there when Mukti did all that but I hide behind the pillar to know everything.(Again tears started falling from her eyes.)
Nandini crying – Bhai(Brother)
Abhi - Kiddo why did you hide all of this from me.
Nandini crying - I didn't wanted to trouble you.
Abhi – You can never trouble me Nandu. Now tell me everything.
Nandini told him everything about Manik , about Mukti , about her Dad.
Abhi - How can Dad do this to you? And Manik.
