I prepared a nice dinner for Keith, fried chicken, steamed cabbage and rice. It was his favorite. I had time to put on a nice dress and pin my hair up. As I was setting the table, I can hear the bass of his music as he pulled up. "Right on time!" I thought. He came into the house and I noticed that he looked like hell. " What's wrong?" I screamed
"it's been a long day." He said.
"What happened? Did you get in a fight?"
"Dee, baby I'm fine." He said while reaching to hug me. He gave me a kiss and said he was going to clean up for dinner. I sat at the table waiting for him and my phone rang, it was Frank. My heart dropped.
I answered "Hello?"
"Deysire, how are you?"
"Much better. How can I help you?"
He grinned and said "is he there?"
"Yes" I said and then asked "where's yours?"
"She's home" he replied
"Oh..."
(By this time Keith was coming out of the room, I muted my phone to tell him it was my boss, he sat quietly)
"Is he in the room with you?"
"Yes, sir"
"Good. Let's have some fun."
I replied "It's yours, I don't see why not"
"Say yes if you want to see me tonight."
"Yes sir"
"If you want to sit on my face repeat after me! "That account is very sensitive"
I repeated the statement

He grinned and said "When you hang up, you'll act angry and tell him that you have to leave for the office. Okay?
"Yes sir"
"Meet me at the Ritz suite 469"
"Okay, be there shortly."
"One more thing, Deysire"
"Yes?"

Once we hung up, I looked at Keith and said "baby, I'm sorry. I have to run to the office".
He said "baby, it's okay. I understand. I'll have to eat all of this good ass food alone" ..
I walked over to him and kissed him and told him "thanks for understanding"
I walked out of the house, got into the car and text Frank.
"Omw"
