I started crying. The doctor rubbed my shoulder and told me that he'd leave me for a minute to process everything. I tried to speak but couldn't.

I looked towards the door as the doctor left, I could see Keith standing there talking to two cops. I tried to sit up but couldn't. Was I paralyzed?  I was stuck.
I looked down and realized that I was handcuffed to the bed.

I started to wiggle my arms but couldn't break out of the hold of the restraints. The cops walked in.

"Mrs. Washington, you're under arrest for the murders of Amanda Carson, Frank and Stephanie Hope. Charges also includes embezzlement, reckless driving and possession of government issued weapons without permit."

"What? Wait, no. No no!" I cried

"Mrs. Washington you will remain in the hospital with 24 hour guards, until well enough and then released immediately into the custody of the federal penitentiary."

"Where's Keith?"

"Mr. Washington is right outside. We will let him come in and have a moment with you."

The officers let Keith in. He ran to my bedside.

"Oh, baby. I'm so sorry." He cried while holding me.

"Officers, will you give me a minute with my wife?"

They agreed and stepped out of the room. Keith leaned in as if he were gonna kiss me, but he placed his hand over my mouth and nose and said,

"This is perfect. Time's up b***h."

He grabbed the remote and turned the volume up, I could hear the reporter

"All three murders has also been linked  to Deysire Washington, who is also being charged with embezzlement of over 4 billion dollars from various corporations in and out of the United States. We'll have more of this story later tonight."

My heart dropped. Keith let out a laugh and I felt like it was over for me.

A few days later, I laid in a steel bunk, still sore and barely moving. I spent days in and out of it, crying and wondering how I was going to get myself out of this.

"Hey, cry baby." A voice called.
I opened my eyes and saw no one. There was a piece of paper on the floor. I quickly unfolded it, it read,

"I can help you."
