Chapter 1: Betrayal(1)

In a dilapidated building, one could see a woman lying, her whole body has bloody scars and in her originally beautiful eyes, you could see hatred, resentment, despair, and many complex emotions.

In front of the woman stood a man with a woman in his arms. They are looking at the woman lying on the ground with mockery, and joy. They seem to be enjoying the woman's embarrassment.

"Why...." asked the woman on the ground.

"Why? Why!? Bai Yue, you are asking me why!? You snatched me of everything, and you are asking me why. You snatched everything that should have belonged to me..." said the woman who was in the man's arm. Her innocent-looking face showed a hideous expression. Her eyes flashed with hatred and craziness.

"Bai Qing, when did I ever snatch anything from you? I have always fulfilled all your wishes, anything you said you wanted, I always did my best to give it to you. Why did you do this to me? I have always treated you like my elder sister and have loved and respected you." said Bai Yue.

"Heh... Of course, you always gave me everything, after all, you are so stupid. But you snatched everything that should belong to me. I don't want you to give me anything that should originally belong to me. You snatched the whole properties of the Bai family, the Bai group, from me. You snatched the love of my parents that should originally only belong to me, and the powers that I should have are with you. I am four years older than you, but why do I have to always ask for anything I want from you and get your permission? Now it's good, it's the end of the world I don't have to ask you for anything." said Bai Qing while sneering and looking at Bai Yue with hatred and mockery.

Bai Yue never thought that the big sister she always loved and respected hated her so much.

Bai Qing was the adopted daughter of Bai Yue's parents. After not having children for 7 years of their marriage and the passing away of Bai Yue's grandparents they felt lonely, so they adopted Bai Qing when she was 3 months old.

Three years after adopting Bai Qing, Mother Bai, Fang Yu, was found to be 2 months pregnant.
The Bai couple were very happy.

During the next 7 months of pregnancy, Fang Yu wasn't able to take care of Bai Qing because of her health and due to work in the company, Father Bai, Bai Jing, also didn't have time to pay attention to Bai Qing. She was taken care of by a nanny.

When Bai Qing noticed that the Bai couple were not paying attention to her because of the child in Fang Yu's belly, which wasn't even born yet, she became jealous of the baby as from the conversation among some old maids in the house she had heard that she was the adopted daughter of the Bai family and the Bai couple also never intended to hide Bai Qing's origin from her, so she had always been afraid that once they have their child she would not be able to enjoy what she had now anymore.

So she pushed Fang Yu down the stairs. As the delivery was also near, and she was pushed, Fang Yu was sent to the hospital, where she gave birth to Bai Yue. However, due to the fall, she was never able to give birth again.

As for the push, Bai Qing started crying and said she didn't mean to push her mother and that she wanted to hug her, when Bai Jing saw the surveillance video that captured the scene it seemed like Bai Qing just wanted to hug her mother but accidentally pushed her, so she was just grounded for a month for not being careful.

After Bai Yue was born, everyone in the Bai mansion treated Bai Yue like a princess.

She also had a high IQ and EQ and has been very smart since childhood, she skipped school and graduated from the most prestigious University in the world, S University at the age of 14 and became the CEO of Bai Group at the age of 16.

In 3 years, at the age of 19, she brought Bai Group to a new height and made Bai Group the second-richest corporation in the S Country. Then, when she was 21 years old, the end of the world came.

When Bai Yue had already graduated after her PhD in Business and Medicine at S University, Bai Qing was still in high school and was preparing for her College Entrance Examination. Although it is a very common thing because of Bai Yue's achievements, Bai Qing was compared to Bai Yue. Later when she was not able to get into a prestigious university and was only able to get into a third-rate university, she was said to not even be eligible to compare to Bai Yue.

From then only, the childish jealousy that Bai Qing had in her heart towards Bai Yue for stealing the love of her parents and everyone else, turned into bloodthirsty hatred. She wanted Bai Yue to never be born. If Bai Yue wasn't in this world then she would be the only daughter of the Bai family.

Since then she started to think that as long as Bai Yue is not in the world, then she would be the one standing on top of the apex.

Later because Bai Yue was becoming more and more successful and beautiful, Bai Qing became more and more mediocre.

Although she was also treated the same as Bai Yue, she felt that everyone treated her well on the surface but was talking badly about her behind her back.

The servants only treated Bai Qing well on the surface as well because she was usually arrogant and mean and never treated the servants as humans and whenever she was in a bad mood, she would beat any servant who came in front of her.

But Bai Yue was loved as she always treated even the servants older than her with respect and was never arrogant and helped any servant who asked her for help after making sure that they had problems and were not taking advantage of her kindness.
