JENNIE POV :

{New Year's Eve}
I was in my room getting ready for the New Year's Party at our mansion in which a lot of people were invited including the park family. Mr. Park didn't agree at first to let Y/N attend it because no one knew about her real identity but my dad persuaded him to let Y/N come. He didn't have any other choice but to agree with him.

When we first visited their place we were suspicious about some weird tensions between Y/N and her family members but what we saw two days ago confirmed our suspicions.

~ FLASHBACK <two days ago>

Right now, I am on my way to the Park's mansion because Jimin invited me on breakfast. I was free so I quickly agreed because I also wanted to see her again. My mom also tagged along with me except dad because he said he had some business to take care of. As usual Jimin was already there, waiting for me to arrive. When the car stopped he quickly came forward and opened up the door for me then offered his arm. I held onto his arm which made him smile widely. He just said hi to my mom and started leading us inside. Me and my mom shared a look at his rudeness.

When we reach dining hall he quickly pulled out the chair for me to sit. I greeted Mr. and Mrs. Park and nodded at Chaeyoung who nodded back at me. I was quietly waiting for Y/N to arrive but my eyebrows furrowed in confusion when they did the prayer and started eating. My mom was about to ask her whereabouts but stopped when we heard someone quickly coming down the stairs.
