Elsa chanted softly, her eyes wide open and frozen still, as Laura and Oberon. Christopher pulled his hand from Tracy's chest with her heart in hand. Just like her lifeless, he dropped her heart too. "Let us check on our rogues?" He said, glancing over Sebastien. He nodded his head.

They silently walked out of the room, heading down to the garage. Where there were rogues busy preparing themselves and handing each weapon. One young rogue, who looked like he was in his teens, approached Sebastien and Christopher, panting as he said, "The false attackers have been taking."

Sebastien nodded, "are the dirt bikes ready?" He asked the rogue, and he nodded. "Then it's time for us to surprise His Majesty," he said to Christopher.

Christopher grinned evilly and ordered, "You clean up the mess inside and stand guard."

"Yes sir," the rogue nodded and walked around Sebastien and Christopher, heading up.

"I'm leading the dirt bikes," Christopher said to Sebastien as he reached for a grenade. "You take the wolves."

They both grinned, "It's time to be kings." Sebastien chuckled before parting ways.

Meanwhile, Elsa and Oberon gasped as they pulled themselves out of the cold pool onto the platform. Elsa's eyes widened with excitement at what she saw. She saw white clouds at the platform's edge where wolves walked on them with pride and grace. She knew those souls were not what she was after, for they were too small to be lycans. "Elsa," she glanced at Oberon, who was walking towards two pillars where gloomy clouds were. "I found them," he said as he slowly lifted his hand to feel the clouds.

"Don't!" Elsa yelled, gripping his wrist, "They may attack you." She warned, releasing his wrist and pulling out a necklace with a red crystal pendant. "Keep an eye out for the goddess," she said.

Oberon turned on his heels and walked around, taking the beautiful and peaceful place. Elsa gripped the leathery string of the necklace and lifted it up, close to the gloomy clouds. She started chanting, making the crystal pendant move. Suddenly, Elsa's chants were louder and more assertive, lighting flashes as the grim clouds bubbled up and swirled. Thunder cracked, and the wolves that lay on the clouds howled.

Oberon glared at them and glanced over to Elsa. From the corner of his eye, he noticed the pool raised in the middle, where they had entered. It shaped itself into the moon goddess. "What is the meaning of this!?" She growled as she gazed around, realising that someone was trying to steal the souls of her lycans. "You dare steal from me?" She glared at Oberon, who looked ready to attack.

He grinned, "And you dare steal our life?" He said, glaring at his goddess in disrespect and hatred.

"You can't stop me, Oberon! I'm the moon goddess," she growled, causing the platform to shake. "I have power."

"And so do I!" He growled.

Before the fight, lighting flashes past Oberon's shoulder and violently strikes Luna, throwing across. Her head hit hard on the pillar, knocking her out. Oberon was confused and looked over his shoulder, and Elsa stood with grey smoke leaving her palm. "We have no time to watch a fight between you and a goddess," she said. "I'm done."

He nodded slightly as they both jumped into the pool, gasping as they woke up in their world.

Laura's POV

I felt so weak and tired. Especially having pain all over my body, which scares me because I fear for the life of my baby. I whimpered in pain, flickering my eyes open, and I saw movement around me. I knew it was Oberon and Elsa.

"Sebastien and Christopher must be on their way," I heard Oberon say. "You deal with her while I get the jeep." I listened to his heavy footsteps echo away, then a door opening and closing.

Tears blurred my eyes, "please..." My voice cracked as I begged.

My eyes met her cold green eyes, "that took a number on you. Didn't it?" She said with a sigh. "In a few minutes, you'll go into a coma, then slowly die with that baby inside of you."

"I-I thought you needed me?"

She chuckled evilly, "Not anymore."

I couldn't help but release a sob for heartbreak for my baby and in pain. Never in my life have I felt unless and weak.

"Goodbye, Laura," I heard her footsteps. "And have a good afterlife!" And with that, she left.

I was alone in this empty, chilly room, hoping for my Knight in shining armour to come to save me. But where is he? Where is Nathan? My eyes flickered onto my belly, noticing movement. Ha! He was kicking. A weak smile managed on my lips, and tears of joy rolled down my cheeks.

My son.

I felt my fingers twitch, followed by my arm. I need to fight this. I need to fight for my son's life. As I encouraged myself to fight, a shock of pain pulled me down and a whimpered release. The only way to heal was to shift, but shifting while pregnant will lead to a miscarriage.

But I need to shift.

Nathan's POV

I paced back and forth, waiting for those slow witches to come.

"Nate, calm down," Sean said.

I snapped a growl, "DON'T TELL ME TO CALM DOWN! MY MATE IS IN THE HANDS OF EVIL LYCANS!" I yelled.

I called Kelly to ask for Laura, but she said no one could find her, which made me worried and angry. I failed to protect my mate and unborn son.

I won't be able to live with myself knowing that I didn't save them in time. I can't lose them.

"Alpha Nathan!" I heard Ivy's voice call out as she ran towards me. "Sorry I'm late," she said.

I growled, "No time for talking! Find my mate." I ordered, forgetting all my respects for her.

As she laid some things on the outside table, I watched the royal armies throwing the captured rogues in the different vans.

"Noah!" I snapped my gaze to Noah, who paced with what looked like Laura's hairbrush. "Give me the brush," Ivy ordered. He handed the brush to Ivy, who placed it on the map. She lifted her arms, closed her eyes, and chanted.

Please find her. I couldn't help but plead for witches' magic to work and see my mate.

She hummed negatively and furrowed her in confusion, then placed her palms on the map.

"What is it?" Noah asked, glancing up to Ivy, then the map.

"I-I'm sensing her..."

"Where is she!?" I asked loudly, feeling a spark of joy.

She groaned, "... She's everywhere." She said, snapping her eyes. "Elsa must have placed a cloaking spell. I can't find Laura."

I gripped Ivy's arm, "try harder!" I growled through my teeth, tightening my grip.

She whimpered in pain, "I can't do that with your hand on me." Suddenly, there was an explosion in the forest. A vast gas rose, and wolves on watch rushed out with their fury burning.

"WE'RE UNDER ATTACK!"
