It had ended vaguely, vaguely for a reason. You yourself may imagine as you please with the ending narrative; you, you put your mind to what you believe should/shouldn't happen after the Epilogue.

'Lust of Misanthropy' was an attempt to mimic the idea of caring about one and one human only with the sadistic desire of a hemophilic, overzealous lover- extreme measures that I hoped to appear intense enough to both arouse (Heh...) and intrigue the audience (It appears I did, at the very least, a good job with that).

Contrary to the intensity that the protagonist is provided with, thanks to Yuri, the ubiquitous composer of these multiple realities, Monika, attempts to pull the strings of Yuri's emotions, intensifying them to hopefully push the protagonist away from the freakish intents that are soon to reveal themselves to him, in measures that are, in Monika's mind, too high for him to handle.

Though... Does he really dislike it?

Through one mishap, through another, there is no happy ending for a misanthropist.

'Lust of Misanthropy', through every 'act', illuminates the aspects of hopelessness, negativity, misery, endless issues, nights without comfort, lack of awareness, suspense, isolation, guilt, dull yet beautiful sexual appeals, and if it wasn't clear by the arrangement of the ending, tragedy.

My motivation for this piece? My negativity, and a rather revealing example, my girlfriend.

She is a prime example to obsession, devotion, restless effort and unending, sappy affection
