Vikram's POV

As I reached home, I quickly grabbed my car keys and extra keys for her house which bhabhi had. I drove as fast as I can to her apartment.

I knew she will not be able to wake up and open the door for me. But she might be scared if someone enters her apartment without notice. I debated opening the door for sometime but did anyways.

I decided to call her instead, I rang her as soon as I was inside. I can hear the faint sound of her phone ringing but no response.

I walked towards the sound, her door was open a little, I hear a flush of water, she might be in the washroom. I waited taking her phone in my hand.

She came out and screamed on seeing me, " you scared me!" She clinged to the bathroom door.

"You didn't find any ringtone other than this?" I asked her, it was funny, no one but a five year old would do that.

"Are you trying to give me heart attack?" She said placing a hand on her heart," how did you even get in here and when did you come from Bangalore?" She slowly reached for the bed and sat cross-legged.

I stopped joking and observed her, she looked pale, her eyes had bags under them and I am pretty sure she was not eating by the way she threw up .

"To get you, duh. Did you even see yourself, why didn't you call bhai or bhabhi or even your friend what's her name Priya?," remembering her from the day I dropped Rhea at the coffee shop.

"Preeti, she is busy in her engagement plans and I was fine when Aaru was going home," she fell on the bed holding her head.

Bringing my hand to her forehead, I checked her temperature, she was burning like hell," we need to get you to hospital, come on get up," I said strictly.

"But whyyyy?" she is behaving like a child now.

"Rhea this is the last time I am saying, if you don't then I am going to carry you to hospital, come what may," I folded my hands waiting for her response.

"I need to change." She made it short.

I could see some pants hanging out in the balcony connected to her room, I grabbed them, " they look comfortable, here wear these," I handed it to her.

I walked to her closet, looking for some clothes to pack. She can't stay here, I am taking her with me until she gets better.

"What are you doing?" She tried to peek from my behind.

"Packing what else,we are going home, you are not staying here alone," I said turning to her.

Her eyes widened, she grabbed the bag from my hand," I will do it."

What's wrong with her, I was just helping.Instead I grabbed her phone and glasses from the side table.

We walked to my car, she was talking support everywhere like holding the bars, walking slowly. She must be exhausted.

"Can't we just go home?" she sat beside me with those puppy dog eyes.

"No and that's final," I ordered, she slumped in the seat holding a shawl around her tightly.

I drove to the nearest clinic I found, most of them are closed due to the time. It was almost 1.

The receptionist informed us to wait for our turn, it was a children's hospital and most of the people here are parents holding their kids and here I was with her. She is nothing more than a kid.

She slowly reached for the chair and sat down, I sat beside her, " can I rest my head on your shoulder?"

I nodded and she wrapped her hands around my hand and placed her head on my shoulder closing her eyes. I could feal her heat over my clothing.
