Shade moves to the central city to start afresh, Earth in the future is on the brink of extinction as a result of the last Great War. A new species of beings who call themselves Quirceus, begin to attack Earth and its inhabitants leading to worldwide chaos. This leads to the revival of the guardians who set out to chose warriors known as genites.
Shade discovers she is a genite and is sent to a camp for her kind, where she discovers Q.T.R, guardians, and other strange happenings. After a massive attack on the camp Shade, her friends, and the remaining guardians are tasked with finding the supposed ruler of her world: The Eternity Queen.
