song: dark side by bishop briggs

If I hadn't let my sister die in my place, if I caught Octavia before she fell off the cliff, if I could save them all. So many what if's with so little time. If I wasn't being held by Miller and Elliot, I would already have strangled Bellamy myself.

"Bellamy!" I try to lunge at him as he lands another punch to the grounder's face. If Miller and Elliot weren't my friends, I would go ham on the lot of them. I struggle while Bellamy grabs the journal again.

"What the hell is that thing?" He says, pointing to a figure that looked as if they'd been through hell a few times. Getting no answer from the grounder, Bellamy turned to me and shows me the journal. Miller reaches out to grab it, taking it out of my eyesight. I narrow my eyes before being my elbow into his stomach, making him double over.

"Sorry, Miller." I mutter, grabbing the journal. I push Elliot out of my mind as I flip through the pages.

However, he had other plans as he grabs the journal from my hands and flips back to the original page. "Friend of yours?" He asks, turning the page toward the grounder.

"Get the hell out of my way." I hear Clarke say from behind me. I turn and see Drew glowering at her. I roll my eyes at him, having the urge to chuck one of my knives at him.

"Let her through, unless you want a dagger in your foot." I threaten, causing him to pale. He stumbles, jumping out of her way.

As Clarke gets up to stand next to me, I see her smirk in my direction. I nod my head in the direction of the grounder, as if to say 'are you okay with this?' Her eyes widen as she takes in his figure.

"Well if he didn't hate us before, he does now." She says finally, earning a scoff from me. I click my tongue and tilt my head, agreeing with her.

"Who cares?" Bellamy scoffs with his arms crossed. I raise my chin, trying to catch his gaze, but to no avail. My lips twist in disgust. Who cares? Bloody idiot. "How's Finn?" He asks, changing the topic.

She narrows her eyes at him, glancing between him and the grounder. "Alive." She states, her gaze now glued to the grounder. "His people will care!" She starts, gesturing her hand towards his beaten body. "How long until they found out where we're keeping him? And what happens when they do, I mean when they come looking for him." She takes a step closer, glancing at me and then back at him. "They will, Bellamy." Her gaze hardens as she stares up at him.

I cross my arms, watching the interaction. I keep my mouth shut, not wanting to intervene.

Bellamy glances from Clarke to me. "Loosen up, Kane." He smirks, glancing back to Clarke. "Relax. No one saw us take him." He turns his gaze back to the grounder.
