It's 6 months later and Monica and Adam have been dating for the entire time. They have been going for walks on the beach, ice cream dates, movie dates and restaurant dates. Monica and the intelligence team have cracked tons of cases. Monica is making some coffee and heading to work.
"Morning!" Monica says enthusiastically
"Morning!" Jay answers
Monica sits at her desk and does some work. Then Voight comes out of his office.
"Monica! I need you an Antonio to go and check out a Neighbourhood for me!" Voight says
"On it" Monica says grabbing her jacket and walking out followed by Antonio
"I'll drive!" Monica says. They go down and grab one of the intelligence unit cars and drive away. Monica comes up to a light and notices that it's green so she goes through. She doesn't notice the van coming the other way. The van then crashes into the side of them sending Monica and Antonio's car to flip. Monica and Antonio are both knocked unconscious. After a while Monica starts to wake up
"A-A-Antonio?" Monica says weakly. She then grabs her phone and dials 911.
"This is umm detective Monica Dawson and there's been an accident on 78th street west" Monica says with a shaky voice
"Copy that Detective Dawson" main says. Monica then notices that Antonio is starting to wake up.
"M-Monica?" Antonio says
"I'm here! I'm right here! It's okay" Monica says looking at him. Monica then can hear sirens.
*The intelligence unit and Firehouses pov*
Truck 81, squad 3 and ambulance 61 arrive on scene along with everyone from the district.
"Sarg! That's Monica and Antonio's car!" Adam shouts
"Monica and Antonio are in there!" Dawson asks getting worried
"Alright! We have 2 detectives in that car! I want you to do your best to get them out and fast! Squad 3 take Antonio and truck 81 take Monica! Let's move people!" Chief Boden shouts
Matt runs over to Monica
"Cover your face!" Matt shouts as Monica covers her face. Matt then sharers the glass on the window.
"I need a medic!" Matt shouts as Dawson runs over
She puts a neck brace on Monica and asses her injury's
"We have a possible broken leg and an a laceration to her right arm" Dawson says
"Mouch! Get be a backboard!" Matt shouts
"Copy that Luitenent!" Mouch says grabbing a backboard
They load Monica up and Adam rushes to her side
"Your gonna be okay!" Adam says holding her hand
They load her up into the ambo and take her to Med. Monica manages to have a broken leg along with a deep laceration to her right arm. She gets her arm stitched up and her leg put in a cast. They have to keep her in the hospital to keep and eye on her. Later that night Adam has left to go and get Monica some things from her apartment. She then gets herself in a wheelchair and goes to visit Antonio. She is blaming herself for the accident as she was driving.
"Hey!" Monica says
"Hey sis!" Antonio says
"How you feeling?" Monica asks wheeling herself in
"Like I've been hit by a ton of bricks but other than that I'm good" Antonio says laughing a bit
"I'm so sorry Antonio!" Monica says looking down
"Hey it's not your fault! The light was green it was the van who ran the light" Antonio says before coughing
"Antonio?" Monica asks worried
Antonio then flatlines
"I need a doctor in here!" Monica shouts
Dr.Halstead runs in
"He's coding! I need a crash cart in here!" Dr.Halstead shouts
"Stay with me Antonio" Monica whispers while they do CPR
