Chapter 19- Are we saying goodbye to Antonio?

After 10 mins of CPR they finally get him back but put him on a ventilator. Monica is sitting next to him on her wheelchair. Gabby and Laura rush in
"What happened!" Gabby says
"He umm flatlined and they put him on a ventilator" Monica says quietly
"You did this! If you weren't driving so recklessly then he would be at home right now! If he dies that's on you!" Laura shouts
"Just leave it!" Gabby says
"No! She should be the one on a ventilator not Antonio! She should get her licence taken away!" Laura says But gabby doesn't defend Monica
"Your not gonna say anything? Okay I understand, I'm gonna go back to my room" Monica says going back to her room
When she gets back to her room she just breaks down. The someone arrives at the door
"Hey Monica! I just came to see" Dr.Charles says before he's sees Monica crying
"Hey what's up?" Dr.Charles says
"It's umm Laura, she came by and blamed me for the whole accident. I know it was my fault but even gabbys not speaking to me and" Monica says in a panic
"Shhh calm down! Take a breath" dr.Charles says
"It's not your fault Monica! Okay?" Dr.Charles says
"Yeah sorry I'm just being stupid, I'm sorry for wasting your time" Monica says
It's a few weeks later and Antonio is off the ventilator but he is still in the ICU. It's Monica's first day back at work since the accident. She arrives in and sits down at her desk
"What no good morning?" Jay asks
"Oh morning" Monica says distracted
"Okay I need someone to go and deliver this down to district 6, Monica?" Voight says
"Umm I don't have a partner to go with?" Monica says
"Jay will go with you" Voight says
"Oh okay" Monica says getting up
They then walk out
"What's up with her?" Voight asks
"Laura and Gabby aren't talking to her, and Laura blamed  the accident on her" Adam says
"I've been trying for weeks to tell her that it isn't her fault but she won't listen" Kevin says
"Keep a close eye on her today" Voight says before walking away
Monica and Jay are now back. Monica goes and makes herself a coffee
"She wouldn't drive" Jay says
"She hasn't drove since the accident" Adam says. Just then they hear banging from the coffee room.
"Go back in! Ugh!" Monica shouts
"Hey! Calm down! What's up?" Adam says rubbing her back
"The stupid pot won't go back in" Monica says
"Here let me!" Adam says putting it back in gently
"Ugh! I can't do anything right!" Monica says as she sighs
"Yes you can! Don't listen to Laura and gabby" Adam says
"Hey guys! The hospital just called Antonio has been moved out of the icu and is awake and talking" Jay says
"That's great! Let's go see him" Adam says taking Monica's hand
They arrive at med and Monica walks in along with Kevin and Adam
"Hey man!" Adam says
"Your looking a lot better!" Kevin says
"I feel a lot better" Antonio says looking at Monica who is silent
"Hey sis!" Antonio says
"Oh hey" Monica says not looking at him
"I'm gonna go get coffee" Monica says walk out
"What's up with her?" Antonio ask
"Laura went off on one at her, she said it was her fault that you were in here and that she should be the one on a ventilator" Adam says
"And on top of that, Gabby hasn't spoke to her and She won't drive" Kevin says
"I'll speak to her" Antonio says as Monica walks back in
"Sis? It's not your fault! Don't listen to Laura! And gabby will talk to you" Antonio says
"I know! I'm just glad your okay" Monica says quietly
