Chapter 51- Family life

It's a week since Monica had Luca and Jay has gone to work. Monica has just dropped Anna off at school and is making herself breakfast. She eats her breakfast then feeds Luca. She heads down to the district when she arrives she is greeted by platt
"You really can't stay away can you?"platt says
"Guess not!" Monica says smiling
"Let me see him!" Platt says taking Luca from Monica
"Your a natural at this!" Monica says smiling
"He's beautiful! Yes you are!" Platt says in a soft voice
Monica then makes her way upstairs with Luca in her arms
"There's my little man!" Jay says taking Luca from Monica
"He's more popular than me!" Monica says sitting down
"Yeah well he's cuter than you!" Jay says as Monica hits his shoulder
"Monica!" Voight says as he walks out his office
"Hey Sarg!" Monica says as Voight gives her a hug
"Hey there bud!" Voight says to Luca
"You can hold him" Monica says smiling
Voight picks up Luca and Luca falls asleep on him
"I've been trying to get him to sleep all morning! Your not moving for at least an hour!" Monica says laughing
"So any interesting cases?" Monica says
"None! They always come when your working" Kevin says looking up from his computer
"Probably because I'm the best detective here!" Monica says as she laughs
"I beg to differ!" Kevin says smiling
It's later that night and Monica has put Luca to bed. She lays down next to Jay and drifts off because she is so tired. An hour later she is woken up by Luca crying.
"Come on bud! Let's get you some food" Monica says as she heats up a bottle
Luca drinks his milk but won't stop crying
"Come on Luca!" Monica says rocking him back and forth
Monica then sits down in the rocking chair
"Shhh!" Monica says but Luca won't stop
"Mummy?" Anna says as she appears at the door
"Oh honey! I'm sorry did Luca wake you?" Monica says as Anna nods
"Okay honey go get daddy!" Monica says as Luca is still crying
Anna walks out of the room and wakes Jay up. He takes Anna in with him so Anna is sleeping in Monica's space. After an hour Luca finally falls asleep. Monica makes her way into her room to find Anna in her space. She moves her over and slips in next to her and falls asleep.
