["Thoughts of Nightmare / Palette" AU= Alternative Universe

His parents were still trying to make him wear bright colors, for a while and Palette left them at times, but they eventually left him to choose out his own clothes. The colors green, black, blue, some gold, and red dominated the things he chose. Purple is too attached to Nightmare's bad memories, of course, that doesn't mean that he completely rejected the color, he just neglected it. Unfortunately, he still has to wait for a few years, until he gets his own room. But Ink created for him a creative corner, expanding the space he could claim for himself.

As a result of children's playing with danger, the children's received multiple wounds. The parents concern, anger, the children's fears, and naive malice resulted with some negativity. But it was far from enough. Much more negativity was needed than this...
He was 2 years old, when he persuaded one of his followers to release a beast from the forest onto their city. The follower was the first who died. The beast was raging there even, when Dream and Ink hurried to the location. Palette of course, was not taken with them. He only knew about the death of the follower, from the adult conversation.
"Why do I feel bad?" he questioned himself. "This is just the beginning!" ignoring the bad feeling caused by negativity.
Using the children's, he had also enchanted the teens by moving the string of positivity in front of them.

He was 3 years old, when he first met the 1 year old Blueprint, Blue and Razz child. Immediately after followed, the 2 years old Nova Kustard and Divide Kustard, Classic and Red children. Finally, he met again, with the already 4 year old Astronomy. All of them was taken care of by Blue, so they safely could play together while the parents were away.
The moment Nightmare became aware of Blueprint, he decided to leave him alone, in gratitude for Blue being open to the truth.
