Dream traveled the dreamworld while he sleeps, watching over the dreams of the inhabitants of the Multiverse. He saw Ink jumping painting as creates a new word in his dream. Smiling, he patted his love's dream. Banishing some nightmares on his way in search for Palette.
Palette mostly dreamed lucidly so it wasn't that strange to find him in Goth's dream. Dream sighed relieved when found him.
He found it a bit strange that Palette sleeping inside Goth's dream.

Turned his gaze at Goth, he saw that he was working on some material. Goth movements were very detailed, precise and he obviously paid a lot of attention to it.
Dream tried to respect the dreamers and did not keep track of who dreams what or when. It would be too much information to keep in mind anyway. So, he didn't know much about Goth's dreams.
Since Palette was lucid dreaming, it was easier to let him dream much more freely. But he was more relaxed if he checked on his family dreams from time to time.
Ink didn't mind when Dream joined him in his dreams. After all, Dream didn't really have dreams of his own anymore...
After the incident, he also lost the ability to dream... What happened then burned in his eyes forever. And for years after he was released from the stone prison, he saw the image of incident in front of him, whenever he tried to dream.

So, he rather took care of other people's dreams. He also felt his brother's presence in the dreamworld several times, in the past, but for some reason he was unable to reach him. But even when he met him, it ended with a fight...
Shaking his head, he dismissed the memories.
Not wanting to disturb Goth and Palette, he continued on his way. He had many more nightmares to chase away. Dream didn't really talk about the loneliness of this part of his work... How alone he felt in the dreamworld.
