Dream was sitting on the veranda while Ink was flirting with him when Palette arrived at the house. Nightmare/Palette chuckled to himself seeing his brother's golden flushed face. With closed eyes a colorful blush on his face and a genuinely loving smile, Ink kissed his lover's gloved hand.

– There is nothing in this world that can be compared to you! – Ink, ecstatically looking at the face of his beloved.
– You are my only one! My radiant soul – Ink planting another kiss on his hand, this time not letting go of his love's gaze during the gesture.
– And you are my rainbow and the most wonderful partner I could ask for – Dream with a loving expression on his face. Ink giggled at his attempt, then beamed with love and wrapped his arms around his waist with an indelible grin on his face. Dream didn't take the gesture badly, smiling softly, he patted the back of his love, who was kneeling on the ground before him.
– Welcome home my treasure, we were waiting for you – Dream welcomed him lovingly.
– Did you wait a long? – Nightmare / Palette with an innocent smile on his face.

– Not at all – Dream emphasized the statement, shaking his head.
– Time just flies in good company – Ink with a playful smile.
– Yes – Star blinked at first, slightly surprised at the supportive tone of the words, but then chuckled into his palm as he agreed, knowing his parents thought he'd been with Goth and his friends for this long. Dream rewarded their interaction with a bright smile, much more relaxed now that he was over the difficult conversation.
– Your development is definitely reassuring for all of us – Dream calmly.
– The teachers are very pleased with the way you keep up – Ink with a proud smile.
