(Y/N) POV

I studied my other two teammates a little bit more.

Indigo was quite attractive...still didn't hold a candle to Neo.

"Nice to meet you," she suddenly says as I realize I was starring at her

"Oh, my apologies, I'm (Y/N)," I say with a blush as Neo notices and puffs her cheeks out and pouts

"I'm sure you put two and two together to figure out I'm Indigo," she says with a friendly smile

"Now go on," Ozpin whispers behind us to get us off the stage.

We followed his orders and continued once we got off.

I signed for Neo to join our conversation

"She's Neo, she's mute but she manages fine with pen and paper," I say as she punches my arm hard.

"Ouch...oh I guess she also has me," I mutter in pain as she looks satisfied.

"What do you mean by that?" David asks as he also joins

"I'm a Mind Reader, if she wants to communicate she can use me as a medium," I say as they both look at me with wonder in their eyes.

I took a peek inside Indigos head as she stares at me.

Wow, this guy doesn't look like much, but if he can read minds...well that's just amazing

"I'm reading your mind right now," I tell her as she clears her thoughts up

"Ok....tell me my Dogs name," she asks

"What kinda name is Leroy?" I ask as she starts laughing

"You really are a mind reader," she chuckles as Neo nods as looks up at me with her multi-coloured eyes

"Tell them my Semblance!!! Tell them, tell them!" Neo says as she vibrates with energy

"Neo here can make physical illusions," I say as I pat her head...to which she tried to get me to stop.

At first, she tried moving around...I followed her.

Then she tried forcing my hand off...I was stronger than her.

Finally, she stopped and accepted her defeat so she just stood miserably with a HUGE blush on her face.

"OMG! I can't hold back anymore.....She's adorable!" Indigo says as she hugs Neo's small body.

Indigo was a solid foot taller than my childhood friend, Neo couldn't do a single thing as she was crushed by the embrace of the taller woman.

"Can't...breath! Who is this crazy woman!" Neo says as our eyes lock together

"Help!" She says as I'm about to separate the two

"Set her down Indigo, you'll crush the girl otherwise," David says as Neo is released and can finally expand her lungs

" oh I'm sorry, when I get excited my Semblance can come out," she says blushing a little

"What's your semblance?" I ask as she flexes her triceps

"Strength," she says as I'm a little surprised. I wouldn't expect a pretty girl like her to have a semblance like that.

"What about you David?" I ask as he shrugs

"I have the ability to hide things really well. You lose a pencil, if I hid it you'd never find it again," he says...that's a bit of a lame ability

Ah man, they probably think I'm lame now. They all have cool semblances but me

"That might come in handy someday," I say trying to cheer him up as he nods sadly.

We waited for the rest of the assembly to finish. Then we were sent to find our Dorm rooms.

I looked at the map we were provided, looking for the room that they marked on the map.

"I think it's this one?" I ask myself as David looks at me.

"You sure?" He asks as I shrug

"I don't know," I mutter as Neo chuckles....silently

I open the room to see...nothing

It's empty," I mutter as the others look in.

"It's definitely empty," David says

"Yep, empty," Indigo says as they walk by me.

The room had four beds...so we technically were all wrong

"Boys on one side and girls on the other?" She asks as Neo suddenly clings to my arm.

I didn't see her face, but Indigo saw it and caught what was going on

"Ok, anything goes as long as Neo is beside (Y/N)," she says laughing a bit. David saw it too and joined Indigo in their laughter.

Neo ended up getting the left-most bed, and I was beside her with David and then Indigo on the rightmost wall.

"Unpacking time?" Indigo asks as I nod. It was dark out so we should be getting to sleep soon.

I heard a knock and a teacher was her to drop off our schedules for tomorrow.

I looked it over

"First class is at 9," I mutter as they all acknowledge it

"Ok," I mutter quietly as I unpack the few things I saw fit to bring with me.

Neo had a fair bit more items than I did. She had a few plushies in her bed. I actually remember buying those when we were smaller

Our room was....special to say the least.

Neo's area had a fair bit of pink in it, mine was plain, Davids was pure black, and then Indigos was...well Indigo.

"Diverse," I announce as they all look around and the two to the right started laughing and I could see Neo chuckling too.

"Colourful at least," Indigo says as I look at her

"Pink, grey, black, and Indigo," I say...can't say it's plain.

"Anyway, we better get to sleep, once again classes start at 9," I say as I shut the lights off.

I crawl into bed and as I start to get comfy I feel a light tug on my hand

"Yea?" I whisper as there's no response

"Neo, if that's you, I can't see so I don't know what your thinking," I tell her as I feel a body get into my bed.

I start getting a little nervous. What is Neo doing?

Finally, I felt a hot breath on my face as I see a glint in her eyes.

"I wanted to say Goodnight!" Neo says as I almost start laughing

"If that's all, good night," I say smiling

"Night" Neo says before getting off me and going to her bed

I fell asleep not long after
