(Y/N) POV
"Ok Mind...where are you from...the future?" I ask sarcastically
"I am actually," he says as I raise my brow.
"Ok...since you're in my head...I presume you can't lie to me?" I say as he nods
"I can't lie to you...however I can withhold information from you," he says.
"Ok...so you have half-lie," I mutter as he seems too hesitant to agree.
"So...are you connected to that dream I had of Neo?" I ask him as he slowly nods
"Yes...that was a moment of time that had changed from my timeline...it doesn't happen in yours so it was erased...it seemed you were aware that it had changed, that's good.
"So...in your timeline, the Grimm infested the world?" I conclude
"Yes...we couldn't stop Salem...we don't have what you world does now," he says looking at me
"It involves me right?" I ask as he nods
"It does..." He says as he doesn't elaborate.
"Well go on," I say
"You need to learn to read Katherine's mind...once you do, you'll be able to read Ozmas and Salems as well," he says
"Who's Ozma and Salem?" I ask him as he looks interested.
"Looks like he had to go back further than I thought," he mutters to himself
"Who had to go back?" I ask as he returns his attention to me
"That's something I can't tell you, and our time is up, you know what to do," he says as I suddenly wake up.
My head was pulsing in pain as I went to sit up...I slipped off the bed and slammed into the hospital's floor.
"(Y/N), are you ok?" Neo asks me as her beautiful eyes appear over the edge of the bed.
"My back hurts," I say as I remember. Me and Neo were sleeping in the hospital bed...I forgot.
"Come back up," Neo says cheerfully, patting the bed.
"I'm good...i'll sit in a chair," I mutter as I take a seat in the hospital chair.
"You were talking before you woke up...was something going on?" She asks
"I had a messed up dream...a couple actually," I say as I tell her about the dream I had yesterday...and also the one about the white man.
"So...this is kinda like an alternate universe?" She asks as I shrug
"I can't make sense of it...maybe Indigo will...she's the smartest out of all of us," I say as we both agree
"Maybe...Mom might also be able to help," Neo says as something clicks
"Ozpin is dead right? So who's the headmaster of Beacon now?" She asks as I shrug
"Maybe Goodwitch," I say as Neo agrees
"Sounds about right...I don't know who else it could be transferred to...you think school will be shut down?" She asks again
"I don't think Beacon will shut down...I mean, it seems unlikely," I tell her.
"I guess so," she says as her eyes fall on a wheelchair.
"I can go home with one of those," she says pointing to it.
"Wait really?" I ask as she shyly smiles
"I won't lie...I've only stayed here for so long because you've been glued the whole time," she says blushing.
"I'm with you all the time," I say confused
"You were here alone with me all the time," she corrects
"At Beacon, we always have friends around," she continues
"Oh...so you wanted alone time," I tease as her face turns a darker shade of Crimson.
"Yeah...but I'm ready to leave now," she says as I nod
"Well, I guess this might be a good time to check up on Beacons situation," I mutter as she nods
She holds her arms up expecting me to pick her up.
"You literally just told me about a handy device that's called a wheelchair," I smirk as I wheel the chair toward her bed.
She pouts as she loads herself on the chair.
"At the very least, you can see all your friends," I mutter as she nods...she's still pouting when we check out of the hospital.
We boarded a bullhead and flew to Beacon.
When we arrived...I literally didn't notice a difference.
All the students were walking around campus minding their own business.
"This is weird," I say. It's normal...so it's weird.
"Yeah," Neo says under her breath
I wheeled her around campus and we finally mustered the courage to go up to the headmaster's office.
The elevator went up multiple floors.
Finally we reached the top.
"Why are we so nervous?" Neo asks me
"Maybe we are scared he is in there," I say as I approach the office.
I knock...and my heart sank when I heard footsteps
Oh no...is he really in there? Is he about to kidnap me again?
Neo grabbed my hand once she realized how nervous I was...her hand soothed me.
The door opened and my heart started to slow down...it was Kelly
"Oh...I'm surprised to see you two," she says bewilderedly, looking at me and then Neo.
She kisses Neo on the forehand before inviting us in.
"What are you doing here?" I ask her as she looks proud
"Long story short...I guess Ozpin assigned me Headmaster before he died," she says as both my and Neo's mouths drop to the floor.
