"Thank you, Travis. Have a nice day." I smiled brightly, as he held out the car door for me.

I was oddly happy on a Monday morning, having joined back after a week's break. I noticed as I waved back at some of my colleagues, their eyes pitched behind me, not at me. Curious, I turned back and there went away my good mood.

"What are you doing, Travis?" I spat, although my tone was hushed.

"My job."

"You gotta be kidding me. Are you gonna stand outside the door of my cabin all day?"

"No. I'm accompanying you until the entrance." He stated, his alert eyes wandering around us.

"It's barely a hundred meters distance." I screeched.

"A hundred meter distance with Luca very close by." He corrected.

"This totally won't catch his attention. Look, no bloody one is gawking at us." I hope he could process the sarcasm. "Besides, I'm a normal girl for the world. Why would a I need a freaking personal bodyguard?"

"You're the CEO's girlfriend." He stated.

"Well, breaking news! I dumped him."

"It's one minute and thirty four seconds to nine. Your boss won't like you being late."

Yeah right.

My boss.

My brother.

Ugh!

There's no point arguing with him. He's my brother's puppet. I stomped to the huge revolving doors, ignoring all these stupid stares.

"Have a nice day, ma'am." He said in his usual robotic voice, slightly bowing.

Can he just not?

"Oh I surely will." I rolled my eyes, walking inside the elevator and pressed 69.

"Hey there, sunshine!" Liam smiled brightly as I exited the elevator.

"Sunshine is having a solar eclipse." I frowned.

He let out a throaty chuckle and a few girls around him went visibly insane. "Let me guess." He bent down to my level and whispered into my ears. "Travis?"

"It's not that poor guys fault. It's that notorious Rivera." I scrunched up my face to emphasize my emotion.

He laughed harder, pushing his glasses up and those girls were now an unmoving corpse.

"About the notorious Rivera," He guided me towards Ariel's unoccupied desk. "Toby just texted. He's got her engaged downstairs but we have to be quick." He chirped.
