Chapter 12

He came close to me and patted my shoulder.

"Oh Catharina how you grew up so fast" he said.

"What do you want?" I questioned.

"To take you home my dear"

I looked at him frustrated and tried to give a smile.

"Oh yes I forgot to tell you I've got another home now, a home with people who loved me and respected me much"

He gave a small laugh and whispered in my ears.

"Sorry my dear but life is so hard!"

Carson stood in front me and pushed him away.

"Oh you're trying to be a brave man to empress the young lady? But that won't help you Carson" said Bracken . "Now get out of my way"

Jake now appeared.

"And what if we didn't?" he said.

"I'm afraid that will hurt" came the hard reply.

Carson got out a knife and threw it at his face but he quickly held it and smiled at him

"You want a piece of me then"

He started grabbing him and threw him on the floor. Carson groaned and tried to stand up.

"Trust me, you don't want to do this" I muttered.

"Oh why? What would you do?" questioned Bracken making fun of me.

"You better not try me"

"No I would like to"

My eyes started turning green and his face started to look worried. I whispered some spells in my mind for these spells help me stay strong and prevent me from fainting. Carson smiled at me as he knew what would happen to Bracken now. I sprang my hands aiming for his neck and squeezed it. He struggled and gave a small yell.

"Didn't I tell you, you better not try me?"

"You learned how to use your powers!" he said looking surprised.

"Voices taught me" I replied.

I threw him and he hit a tree. I ran back to the house and stayed there.

"That was awesome!" yelled Carson.

"I told you before it isn't a good idea to go out now"

Jake patted me and gave a cute smile.

"It's okay Catharina" he said trying to calm me down.

Carson scrolled his eyes and sighed. He hugged me and started looking at Jake with a smile. Uh how arrogant he is! Drake came near us and gave a smile.

"Did you have a good time?"

"A very good time actually" said Carson.

Drake smiled and whispered in my ears.

"You didn't, did you?"

I nodded. He smiled and looked at Carson with a cold smile.

"I knew it" murmured Drake.

"What did he tell you?" he questioned.

"A secret"

"You tell me all your secrets, don't you?" he questioned looking at Jake.

I thought for a moment.

"No I don't" came the cold reply.

He gave a little smile.

"Indeed!" he replied shocked.
