Author's POV

"He is not at home even" said Annapurna and shocking would be an understatement for Aadya.

"If he's not at home and didn't even go to attend the hearing, then where he must have gone?" said Shekhar.

"Actually, I think I shouldn't be shocked about this. Omkar is such a coward. What else can be expected from him? He never had the guts to face situations" Aadya blabbered whatever she got in her mind after a while.

"Aadii... I guess it is something important. That is why he didn't come to court" said Annapurna.

"Really attayya (mother-in-law) do you really think that there's is something important than this" said Aadya.

"Aadii...you first come inside. Why are you standing out and talking? We are family" said Annapurna.

"Family? Do you think your son feels the same? If he felt the same, then he would never have done that" said Aadya.

"Aadii..Annapurna was about to speak but Aadya interrupted and said "I think I should check in office" and left in a hurry.

"Oh no!! What he had done...he is just complicating the things" said Niranjan after Aadya left.

At office

Aadya reached office and soon entered Omkar's cabin. There was no one inside. She stepped out of the cabin and asked the poem about Omkar.

"He didn't come to office today madam" said the peon and left.

"Where did he go then?" thought Aadya holding her forehead.

Two days later...

Aadya stood infront of the mirror and took a deep breath.

"Come on Aadii. You can do it. This is your life" she encouraged herself looking into the mirror.

She stepped out of the room and was about to go to the main door.

"Don't you dare try to leave without having breakfast" Aadya heard her mother speak and then she instantly turned and looked at her mother.

"Amma..I am getting late" Aadya tried to give an excuse.

"Really? There is a lot of time left for the hearing. Shut up and have your breakfast" said her mom setting the dining table.

"If I shut my mouth, then how will I eat?" said Aadya to which her mother gave her a death stare.

"Done with your dialogues..now have the breakfast" said her mother and made her seat on the chair forcefully.

She served her breakfast and Aadya had the breakfast quietly.

As soon as she reached the court, it was Omkar who came in sight. He was sitting on a bench.

She walked towards him and he stood up from the bench.

"How are you feeling now?" She asked looking at his wounds.

"It's paining but not that much" he said and Aadya seated next to him.

After a while

Omkar and Aadya were called into the lawyer's cabin. Aadya stood up first and was about to walk when Omkar stood up and was about to lose balance. She held him from falling.

"Careful" she said and he nodded his head.

They entered the lawyer's cabin and seated in the chairs infront of the lawyer.

"I hope you are fine Mr.Omkar" said the lawyer.

"Yes I'm fine" said Omkar.

Omkar and Aadya looked at each other unknowingly.

All their memories were dancing infront of their eyes.

"Aadya. Are you sure about your decision?" asked the lawyer to which Aadya nodded her head.

"Think once again. Once it is done, you can't be able to change it" said the laywer.

"Yes sir" said Aadya and Omkar looked at Aadya with disappoinment in his eyes.

A few days later

Aadya's POV

I felt a warm breath on my neck and weight on my waist. I tossed to the other side in sleep and unknowingly pulled myself towards the warmth. I hugged the source of the warmth tightly and started feeling it. Reality hit me. In no time I opened my eyes fully becoming concious and looked at the source. It was obviously the monster. He was sound asleep wrapping his arm on my waist making me take uneven breaths. His biceps and chest were perfectly visible through his t-shirt due to the grip. My breath hitched looking at him. I couldn't help but adore him.

I felt like caressing him but had no guts to do so. He also had an injury in his arm. So I didn't dare to do any movements.

I brushed my fingers on his neck and tickled him. He freed me from his arm and tossed to the other side. Pushing away the duvet I got up from the bed.

I stepped into the duvet to take a bath.

Omkar's POV

Sunrays hit my face and I couldn't sleep anymore. I sat on the bed. It felt so peaceful. It felt like I had slept after ages. A smile crept on my lips automatically. Yawning, I got up from the bed and tried to push the duvet and my right arm gave me a death pain.

"Ouchh" I yelped in pain.

"What happened?" I heard the door of the closet open. Aadya came to me.

She was draping her saree I guess. She was holding her pleats in her hands.

My sight fell on her slightly visible navel.

"What happened?" she asked and I looked at her face.

"My hand" I said.

"Is it paining?" she asked and I nodded my head.

"Don't try to take a shower. I will help you" she said and turned to go.

"No. I can manage" I said.

"I know how well you will manage. I will help. Don't do anything by yourself" she said and I didn't know why...I just nodded my head.

She stepped into the closet and came back after putting the pleats near her navel properly.

She slowly removed the dressing of my arm and helped me remove my t-shirt.

"Come" she said and I walked into the washroom.

She placed a stool and I seated on it. She tucked the end of her pallu near her waist.

She took a mug of water from the bucket and let the water flow onto my body. I couldn't help but just look at her
