⠀ basically? more cursed items that's like the Axe of Sorrows! but more dangerous!!! Lava doesn't get to be the only villain anymore. or most 'powerful' :]
he's gonna have to beat Box, Butterz & Nether in those terms. to which he's soo not winnin' At ALL. expect maybe Nether. yes Butterz lives in this AU. fight me.
now, am gonna hand u my art of how the cursed fellas r gonna look like, plus what the cursed items are. it might change idk yet. the curse scarring tho is soo fun to do.

cursed items from left to right : Totem of Chances , Crown of Knowledge , Shield of Judgement & Axe of Sorrows.

⠀ Totem of Chances, Box's curse ::
- an Enchanted Totem which has Power V, and so much Curse of Binding that it goes off screen.
- the more times he dies the more Enchanted he gets. fuzzy feeling that slowly turns into a horrid pulsing feeling, to the point where he can barely even think.
- Totem doesn't disappear when he dies. it stays. u can see how this is a problem.
- after his third death, he starts relaying on his instincts more. although it's very clear his head is a little fucked up and in much pain.
fourth death is where he's acting on whatever impulse he has with little resistance. because at this point he can't really think clearly. pain :)
- did try getting rid of the Totem. it. it didn't work.. he didn't have a left hand for a good awhile till he died again.
- can barely remember why he was sent here anymore, nor does he remember what the kingdom was like. Butterz doesn't tell him, since it didn't matter anymore. it's not like they're gonna go back anytime soon.
- very unpredictable and unstable due to the extreme pain. he doesn't want to die again(for like, how many times?) but he also kinda don't think death can do anything to him anymore.
also kinda wanders around aimlessly sometimes, mind blank.
⠀ Crown of Knowledge, Nether's curse ::
- an Enchanted Golden Crown that has Mending, Unbreaking III, Protection IV, Thorns II, Blast Protection III and Curse of Binding.
- was found in The Nether. was the reason why Nether's research buddies died, one of them got curious & was slightly salty. Nether held onto it so others won't get fucked over by it.
when he got trapped with no way out, he puts it on, and sealed his fate.
- Crown is rlly stuck on Nether's head. it's diggin' into his skull. it hurts. also his head is slightly fuzzy.. not good.
- the item actually speaks to Nether. it's annoying as hell but so so smart. basically curse of binding but if it's given a voice.
- Crown gives knowledge when asked for, in exchange for sanity. you can see how badly this can go. it needs explicit consent to do this though, sooo yay? no sudden loss of sanity ig lolz
- the curse's only goal is to keep itself and its user alive, doesn't matter if he hates it, it WILL keep them both alive no matter the consequences.
- mad scientist? mad scientist!! yeah he slowly turns into mad scientist man :3 curiousity's fun.
- did built a whole mf-in' lab somewhere hidden, where he hides at sometimes. Lava doesn't know where it is nor will Nether ever tell anyone. Crown won't let him.
- Lava still kidnaps him tho. he just has to reel around an unhinged and very uncompliant scientist everytime he needs info.
⠀ Shield of Judgement, Butterz's curse ::
- a Enchanted Shield that has Mending, Unbreaking III, Protection IV, Thorns III, Fire Aspect IV, and Curse of Binding.
- his body has Resistance to the max level whenever he's using his Shield. like. he can't be harmed that badly. it's basically like plot armour lolz xP
- curse makes him more weary of everything and easily jump to conclusions. rude butterz real.
- only giving people what he thinks they deserve. the only exception to this is Box because best friend status. plus his curse is making him fucky so he can't really blame anything on him.
- yeah he rlly got into the good vs bad, us vs them business. not great.
- very overprotective of the people he cares about. he WILL badly maul anyone who hurts his loved ones and he WILL enjoy it.
- made a whole ass dungeon underneath Box's base just because. Box only found out after like.. 40% of the dungeon was done. Butterz does put people in there (mainly Nytree)
- aggressive. just like Lava. & a little sadistic. he's not safe to be around if he has the slightest bad feeling about you. rip.
⠀ (andd here's the only canon one, plus how Lava is gonna be in da AU :>) Axe of Sorrows, Lava's curse ::
- an Enchanted Netherite Axe that has Mending, Unbreaking III, Sharpness V, Efficiency V, Silk Touch and Curse of Binding.

- bro this man is TERRIFIED of the other cursed item users, minus Nether. Box basically became Immortal & Butterz got plot armour. even Nether lost his mind but had the knowledge to still cause harm. what did Lava turn into? nothing. he's still normal. to an extent. & very much mortal.
- Axe feeds on sorrow, and traps the souls of the people killed with it in it. the souls suffers while in it too, soooo technically it already has food. it's just really greedy lmao.
- got extremely fucked over when Butterz came to get Nether back. so yes, Nether & Butterz did get away. and Lava has to heal his broken pride.
he actively avoids Butterz now.
- Box is.. weird. Lava has no idea what to make of him before and after he was cursed. he avoids him too. figured out after killing him for the tenth time (he was determined, alright?) that he rlly can't die, so he's leaving him alone. not dealing with that, nu uh.
⠀ ⠀ so yeah. the people who crash on this island are gonna have a time with them all. rip them xP.
