THEIR EYES COULDN'T HELP but to be trained on the contraption beyond the door. Steve, Dustin and Rosie noticed something that looked oddly familiar to them, "The gate" The three of them noticed in sync, sharing the same look filled with fret.

"Let's go" Steve announced before the five of them walked back down the stairs in a hurry, "I don't get it, you've seen this before?" Robin questioned, trying to make sense of the whole situation.

"Yes" Rosie replied. "No" Dustin also answered at the same time. Robin and Erica both raised a brow, Dustin sighed, "We know about it" He admitted at he explained shortly.

"You've seen this before?" Robin asked again but Steve shook his head, "Not exactly" He told her, making her even more puzzled. "Then what exactly?"

"All you need to know is that it's bad" Dustin elaborated as Steve agreed, "Really bad."

"Like, end-of-the-human-race-as-we-know-it kind of bad" Rosie could hear the clear panic in Dustin's voice as he spoke.

Rosie's mind wandered back to what they saw upstairs. Were they using that contraption thing to open the gate again? But why? Do they know what kind of creatures are in the Upside Down?

"Uh, Steve?" Erica looked around, "Where's your Russian friend?" She asked out loud and suddenly, they were all just now noticing that the man who was once unconscious, had disappeared.

On cue, an alarm started to blare as the lights above them started to flash red and blue. Steve ran to the door, opening it for some reason as he watched a group of men in uniforms huddle around each other in the middle of the room.

One of them spotted Steve and pointed, making the others surrounding him turn, as they started to stalk towards Steve.

Steve hastily pushed the door closed, trying his best to think fast. The only other door in the room was the one that led to the stairs, which seemed to be their only option.

Steve pointed towards the staircase, "Go, go, go, go!" They ran up the stairs. Rosie stayed behind for a short moment, using her ice ability to jam the lock on the door as a way to hold off the men for at least a little bit before she ran to catch up with the others.

They had no choice but to run through the door and as they did, the people in lab coats went quiet, turning around to face them with different kinds of emotions on each of their faces.

"That way! Go, go, go, go!" Steve pointed before they continued to run down a different case of stairs and unknowingly, towards the contraption. The closer they got to it, the harder it was to run and the harder it was to push themselves forward as the contraption released some kind of forceful air that made it difficult to continue.

Nevertheless, they ran, attempting to escape the clutches of the Russian guards.

Despite Rosie trying to sabotage the Russian men, they still were hot on their tails, which prompted the group to move quicker.
