Lily's POV

Month 2

I groan as I roll out of bed and quickly run to the bathroom and throw up last nights dinner. I didn't know you could get morning sickness this early in a pregnancy. I flush the toilet and stand up from the floor. As I turn tap on, I grab the toothpaste and my tooth brush and start brushing my teeth, getting rid of the disgusting taste that was left in my mouth. Once I was done, I made my way downstairs and into the kitchen to make Sirius some tea and breakfast.

About half an hour later there were two plates stacked with pancakes and two cups of steaming tea sitting and waiting to be eaten. Sirius should be down in a minuet. He never sleeps past 7:30am. Just as I predicted, Sirius could be heard making his way down the flight of stairs and into the kitchen. "Oh...good morning" Sirius says as he looks up from the morning paper, The Daily Prophet, he must have grabbed it on his was down. "Good morning" I smile and we both sit down. I take a sip of my tea and sigh. Nice and warm on this cold morning. I watch as Sirius starts eating his pancakes. He just smiles at me and I start eating my own. I wonder what we'll do today.

"What would you like to do today?" I ask him, looking up from my pancakes for a second. He looks back and shrugs. "I'm not too sure. What would you like to do?" He asks me and I too shrug. "Maybe we can choose a room for the baby? Decorate it a little?" I say and he nods. "That sounds like a lovely idea" Sirius said as he sets the paper done. "Hurry with you breakfast and we'll get started straight away" He says and I turn back to my breakfast and continue eating my pancakes. Half an hour later, breakfast was done and everything was cleaned up. "So, how about you go pick a bedroom and I'll go see if there is any spare paint in the attic." Sirius says and I nod walking up the flights of stair's looking for the perfect room for my baby. I get to the second floor and I notice an older looking door down the end of the corridor. I walk over to it and open the door. It creaks a little but opens fine. The room beyond the door was smaller then the other's and had absolutely nothing in it. It was perfect, I could already tell. I used magic to clear away all the dust and spiderwebs and smiled.

"I found some purple and white paint. Which colour would you prefer?" Sirius asks and he places the paint tins on the ground. "I want the room to be white" I said and he nodded. "And we should paint the door purple. If he or she want's to change it when their, older they can" Sirius nodded again and flicked his wand. A whole lot of paint brushes and other painting equipment appeared. "Well then, let's get started" He smiles and I nod.
