The thunder rumbles, waking me from my deep sleep

I get up looking over at the clock.

It's seven thirty, way to early.

Emily is still passed smooth out. I crawl over her and go to the bathroom.
I use the bathroom, brush my teeth, and throw my hair up in a bun.

I quietly walk down the stairs and to the kitchen, I'm already awake so might as well make some coffee

It's still raining outside, I suppose it rained all night

I pour myself a cup of coffee, add in some creamer and sit down on the couch, I turn on the tv and watch some cartoons till everyone wakes up.

"Morning." Emily says, walking down the stairs.

"Morning, there's coffee." I reply, with a smile.

She smiles back and goes into the kitchen and comes back with a cup of coffee in her hand and sits down beside me.

"So what's the plans for today?" She ask, taking a sip of her coffee.

I look away from the screen, "Oh I have plans with Tanner today."

"Oh yeah, duh." She says, with a laugh.

"Sorry." I say with a smile and turn back to the tv.

"My parents are going out of town all week, I was wondering if you would come stay with me?" She ask.

"I'm not sure, I'll ask but, what about your little sister?"

"She's going to stay the week with her dad."

"Oh, gotcha."

"Well just let me know."

"Will do."

We spend the rest of the morning eating pancakes and watching cartoons. Around lunch Emily goes home.

I put on some skinny jeans, a white shirt, black converse and a black hoodie, I let my hair down from its bun and apply some mascara.

My phone buzzes on my nightstand,

Tanner- "Here."

I grab my purse, unplug my phone and head downstairs.

"I'll be back later, love you!" I yell to my aunt and uncle before shutting the front door.

I quickly run to Tanners car as the rain pours down on me.

I open the passenger door and jump in

"Hey beautiful." Tanner says, with a smile

I kiss him softly, "Hey." I say, with a smile.

He chuckles, "Where to for lunch?" He ask, keeping his focus on the road as he starts to drive.

"Hmm, I could go for some McDonalds."

"McDonalds it is."

"Good."

"So ready for next weekend?" He ask.

"Yes, I'm supposed to be staying the whole week with Emily cause her parents are out of town so, when I tell them I'm staying there for the weekend it's more believable."

"Good." He says, placing his hand on my thigh.

I set my hand on top of his and smile.
