It'd been weeks of me just hanging out in this damned room. The guy showed up every day. He'd talk to me but I was growing tired of this.

I walked around the room and frowned when the door opened. I glared at the man from earlier and he looked at me with soft eyes that only annoyed me.

"What the fuck do you want?" I spat and looked around for something. Sadly I could only find the tv remote.

"Katlyn, please let me explain." He said and I narrowed my eyes at his enticing voice.

"Who are you really? Because I just want to go home." I asked and he frowned softly before sighing.

"I'm your mate." He said and I scoffed.

"Preposterous, I'm not mates with a mutt." I spat and he tilted his head.

"You are. I'm your mate. Alpha of this pack. You're Luna... you're my wife. We got married. We have a son. Don't you remember?" The man said sounding desperate and I couldn't help a smirk.

Great, I'm in a room with a lunatic werewolf.

"Look bro? Wrong girl. I don't have a kid or a mate. I'm a Hunter. Now where are my weapons so I can get out of here, I may even spare your life if you help me out." I said and stared at him waiting for an answer.

He only growled, "You're not going anywhere. I lost you... I'm not going to again." He said started toward me. I held out the remote then threw it at him smirking in satisfaction when it hit his head.

"Really?" He said pausing to rub his temple.

"Back up man." I said and he looked at me and gave me a charming smirk.

"You sure you want me to?" He said stepping towards me and my heart began to pound.

"Because I know if it wasn't for your damn parents you'd be jumping me right now." He was getting closer and I didn't know what to do. A Hunter versus an Alpha unarmed? I had no chance.

"We'd be on that bed making love." He growled as he closed the gap between us and it was then I realized I'd backed into the wall. The damned wall.

"Uh I think you're mistaken." I said and the man growled.

"No. They blinded you baby. Think. Please remember me. I'm your Clayton." The man said softly and swooped down to rip my throat out...

Oh wait no... he just kissed my neck.

That name repeated in my head and it did sound familiar, I think. His lips felt awfully good. I pushed him away.

"Don't kiss me." I spat and he growled.

"You don't understand what it's been like. Living without you... it hurt. Especially with our son here. He's six now, when he first called me 'Dada,' I had to leave the room... you should've been there. Baby please you gotta remember something." The man-Clayton whimpered and fell to my feet kneeling. A weird pain blossomed in my chest.

"Clayton I can't... I'm sorry? But I can't. I have no idea what you're talking about and I need to get home." I said going to step around him but he grabbed my wrists and I tensed at the dull tingles.

"You are home." He growled softly. I tried to shake out of his hold but he only pulled me down to him.

"I love you." Clayton groaned and cupped my cheeks. Tears brimmed my eyes and I don't know why.

I've heard that before.

"Clayton..." I breathed and he growled.
