I opened my eyes and groaned.

"Where the hell am I?" I thought aloud as I looked around the room. I was tied to a chair with thick rope and I pulled against it trying to get out. I could feel the gun on my hip jab against my skin at my movements.

The werewolves had got me. They'd burst into my home like they owned the place.... I'd tried to fight them but there were too many and frankly it wasn't worth it.

The room I was in was relatively dark and I got the feeling I was in some sort of holding cell.

I began trying to wiggle out of the ropes when a deep voice made me freeze.

"Katlyn?" I jumped slightly as my name was said from behind me and I realized I wasn't alone.

I craned my neck around to look behind but only saw darkness. I frowned in confusion knowing very well I'd heard my name and turned back around only to gasp as a man came into view. He stood in front of me. He just stood there masked by shadows not saying anything more, just staring at me.

"What do you want?" I asked knowing this man was an alpha. Stronger and with a ferocity greater than any other wolf of the packs.

"If I untie you, will you not kill me?" He said ignoring my question. I stilled then shrugged softly. I tensed as he walked to me and grabbed the ropes and his hands brushed mine gently before he ripped the ropes off like they were made of silly string.

I rubbed my wrists as he unbound my feet and once he stepped back I stood.

"Who are you?" I said and he gave me a long look.

He stepped toward me and reached out his hand. I stepped back and nearly fell over the chair. The alpha caught me and attempted to steady me but I shoved him away.

"Bab-" the werewolf started and I drew my gun. His eyes widened and he put up his hands as he took a step back.

"Who are you?" I repeated sharply and aimed the gun at his head.

"Katy it's me." He said and I raised an eyebrow. I switched off the safety and he growled softly. My heart drummed in my chest. I'd never been this close to an alpha before and I wasn't going down that easy.

"Back up mutt." I said and the alpha frowned. Pain seemed to show on the wolf's features but it disappeared.

"You're a Hunter..." he seemingly said to himself more than I.

"Where am I?" I asked but he only growled and turned away from me. His muscles in his arms flexed as he linked his hands behind his head and groaned.

"I can't believe this... what the fuck? They... they took you and-now you-you can't..." the alpha paused and a dark growl rumbled in his chest.

"They're dead. I'm going to fucking rip them apart." He snarled and threw his hands out before he punched the wall. I watched in silence never taking my finger off of the trigger.

"What are you talking about?" I asked softly. He growled and didn't look at me.

"Your damned parents." The alpha snarled. I felt my trigger finger twitch in my urge to shoot him.

"Don't you touch them." I spat and the alpha whirled to face me and I took a step back at his reddening eyes and glare. He stomped toward me.

"You do not tell me what to do! I'm an alpha, you're just a- a fucking Hunter, you have no authority here! Now put the gun down before you hurt yourself." The alpha snarled and before I could shoot him like I so very much wanted to he ripped the gun from my hands and just like that he was gone toting my weapon along with him.
